Derya Agiş earned her B.A. in Italian Language and Literature from Ankara University, she attended a Specialization Course in Translation Studies at the University of Bari, and she got her M.A. in English Linguistics from Hacettepe University. She earned her M.S. in Social Anthropology from Middle East Technical University. Besides, she earned her Ph.D. in Italian Language and Literature from Ankara University.
