“有一种政治的美学，意指政治的主体化行为重新定义了能见之物，能说的话与有能力做某事的主体。” 朗西埃研究文学、艺术的目的意在政治，他研究感性的实践如何打破治安秩序，如何再现曾经不被看到或是以惯常方式所见到的事物。在因果关系无法提前设定（创作者的意图无法直接传达给 “确定” 的观众）的美学秩序中，感性形式的边界被打破，变得模糊，共同空间的分享成为了经验民主化（démocratisation de l’expérience）的重要形式。
