【综合讯】北京时间20日下午在日本东京召开的国际奥委会第138次全会正式通过，将“更团结”(together)加入奥林匹克格言中。奥林匹克格言自此变为“更快、更高、更强——更团结”。对此，国际奥委会主席巴赫解释称，当前，我们更加需要团结一致，这不仅是为了应对新冠疫情，更是为了应对我们面临的巨大挑战。单靠个体已经无法解决这些挑战。
近日，美国宣布了2020年东京奥运会开幕式旗手人选，男篮队员杜兰特以及1997年出生的游泳运动员莱德基分别称为男女旗手，杜兰特也成为了美国男篮历史上第一位美国在奥运会的旗手代表，达成了乔丹、科比都没有完成的殊荣。
加拿大总理贾斯廷·特鲁多7月19日宣布加拿大奥运代表团在东京奥运会开幕式上的两名旗手：女子篮球运动员米兰达·阿伊姆(MirandaAyim)和男子橄榄球球员平山内森(Nathan Hirayama)。两人均为33岁。值得一提的本次奥运会共有是371名加拿大运动员将参，是自1984年洛杉矶奥运会之后加拿大规模最大的奥运代表团。
1、解封！加拿大将允许已完成接种该国批准疫苗的外国旅客入境
【加新网】加拿大政府19日宣布，完成接种任何一种加拿大已批准疫苗的美国公民和美国永久居民从8月9日起，其他国家完成接种已批准疫苗的居民从9月7日起，可以入境加拿大，且无需隔离14天。此外，所有入境旅客还需在出发前持有核酸检测阴性证明。据悉，加拿大批准使用的新冠疫苗为辉瑞、莫德纳、阿斯利康和强生4种疫苗。
同时，12岁以下没有接种疫苗的儿童与父母一起进入加拿大后，只要遵循公共卫生规定，亦无需隔离14天，但在入境14天内不可以参加夏令营、上学等。加拿大政府还宣布，自8月9日起把允许起降国际航班的机场从4个增加到9个。
2、美疾控中心更新多国旅行警告等级
【CNBS】7月19日美疾控中心宣布下调印度旅行警告等级，将其从最高的4级（意味着没有旅行）降低到3级（敦促公民重新考虑旅行）。同时还将巴基斯坦的旅行警戒从4级下调到3级。据悉，美国是在5月5日发布的将印度旅行警告列为4级的通知。
与此同时，随着英国疫情的恶化，美国公民被警告不要到那里旅游。英国被列为美国旅游指南的最高级别——4级，并警告说，即使是完全接种疫苗的旅行者也可能面临风险。值得一提的是，就在美疾控中心发布这一最新消息的当天，英国首相约翰逊结束了戴口罩和保持社交距离的法律，夜总会等场所重新开放。
3、贝索斯成功进入太空，失重环境下停留3分钟后返回地球
据《洛杉矶时报》报道，当地时间20日上午9时，亚马逊创始人杰夫·贝索斯搭乘名下蓝色起源公司研制的“新谢泼德号”飞船从美国得克萨斯州西部的发射场升空，进入距离地面约105公里的地球亚轨道。据悉，整个太空之旅将耗时约10分钟，在失重环境下停留约3分钟后返回地球，太空舱降落在得州沙漠。
“新谢泼德”号飞行器上的乘客还有贝索斯的弟弟马克、82岁的美国女飞行员玛丽·沃利·芬克和18岁的首位付费乘客奥利弗·达门。据悉，这次太空旅行是“新谢泼德”号首次载人飞行，它自2012年开始不载人测试飞行以来，已连续15次试飞成功，每次均未载人。
4、美国西部山火造成丹佛国际机场数百个航班延误
据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）当地时间7月19日报道，根据美国航空信息网站“FlightAware”数据，，截至19日，丹佛国际机场已有329个航班延误，其中8趟航班被取消。丹佛国际机场发言人伦特里亚表示，火灾导致能见度降低是航班延误的主要原因。
根据美国国家跨部门消防中心 (NIFC) 的数据，目前美国13个州有80起大型山火正在肆虐，过火面积超过110万英亩（约4451平方公里），其中大部分发生在西部各州。美国俄勒冈州消防发言人奥哈拉表示，美国目前最大的火灾“布勒格”（Bootleg）仍在进一步蔓延扩大，高温和干燥等条件对救火造成了不利影响。
5、首个被判重罪的国会骚乱暴徒：闯入15分钟 判处8个月监禁
【国会山报】7月19日，一名承认在1月6日闯入国会的佛州男子被判处8个月监禁，他是首位获刑的国会骚乱暴徒，可能会影响后续数百名同样被控重罪的嫌犯的量刑。
8岁的保罗·霍奇金斯在上个月就妨碍国会程序指控认罪，他在1月6日冲进了参议院会场，阻止了2020年大选选举人票的认证。他身穿印有特朗普名字的衬衫，携带一面印着特朗普名字的旗帜，在会场内待了大约15分钟。该判决少于司法部要求的1年半徒刑，霍奇金斯则寻求缓刑。
6、惊奇！90斤重的亮橙色鱼被冲上俄勒冈州海滩
据《每日星报》7月19日报道，近日，有一条长达1米，重大45kg的大鱼被冲上了美国俄勒冈州一处荒凉的海滩。当地水族馆工作人员表示，这条长着橙色和银色鳞片的大圆鱼名为月鱼，本应生活在热带或亚热带，由于气候变化才出现在俄勒冈州附近海域。目前，尚不知道这条鱼的死亡原因，但从体态判断，它死的时候离海岸很近。
据美国国家海洋和大气管理局表示将利用这条“自投罗网”的月鱼来做更多研究，了解这个物种。据悉，这条鱼将一直冷冻到今年晚些时候，届时学生们将有机会在哥伦比亚河海事博物馆的帮助下对这条鱼进行解剖。其胃里的食物可以帮助人们了解它吃什么、生活在哪里，待解剖完成后，骨架也将被水族馆永久保存并进行展出。
7、美国首都开建“黑人的命也是命”广场，将成为永久性设施
据美国福克斯新闻网19日报道，华盛顿特区当天开始建设“黑人的命也是命广场”，使之成为美国首都的一处永久性设施。特区交通局（DDOT）发布提醒称该街区将在施工期间实施交通管制。施工时间为上午9:30至下午5:30，预计10月1日结束。
去年6月5日，“黑人的命也是命”（BLACK LIVES MATTER）三个巨大的英文单词被用醒目的黄色油漆涂画在华盛顿16街位于白宫前的路段上，市长缪里尔·鲍泽下令，这条路段被命名为“黑人的命也是命广场”。今年5月，地上的字母被涂掉，这引发了华盛顿“黑人的命也是命”组织的批评。
8、Yeet、Zaddy、Youse……词典网新增超过300个词汇
据《文学报》报道，近期，词典网（Dictionary.com）新增300多个词汇，并且更新了网站词条，其中一些词汇反映了过去一年的社会现实——新冠病毒的传播与发展，美国种族主义清算运动等等，还有英语世界社交媒体的流行用语。
词典网（Dictionary.com）主编约翰·凯利（John Kelly）说：“我们生活在一个复杂而又充满挑战的社会，语言的改变会帮助我们认知这个社会。”在这些新增的词条中，有几个词已经成为了互联网和当下社交的流行，比如在社交平台非常流行的爱称——“zaddy”。zaddy是用来形容（通常指男性）有吸引力，同时性感且有魅力。
9、马斯克推特又换新头像 满眼都是狗狗币
【NBC】近日，“硅谷钢铁侠”马斯克的推特账户头像换了！在帅气的新头像中，马斯克戴着墨镜，而两片墨镜镜片上赫然映着狗狗币的经典狗头形象。据悉，这已经不是马斯克第一次给虚拟货币“带货”了，今年2月，他还将带有比特币符号的图片做头像，带动比特币价格涨至5.7万美元。
从最近7天的行情来看，狗狗币价格总体出于下跌态势，保持在0.21美元以下，当前最新是0.18美元，市值235亿美元。目前，狗狗币是国际上用户数仅次于比特币的第二大虚拟货币，但有趣的是，狗狗币创始人之一Jackson Palmer日前表示，此生不再涉足币圈。
10、哈里王子筹划出版回忆录，计划于2022年年底发行
来自《洛杉矶时报》1报道，企鹅兰登书屋于当地时间7月19日宣布，现年36岁的哈里王子正在创作一部“亲密而真挚”的回忆录，讲述他从出生起作为英国王室成员生活的“高峰与低谷”。包括，自己作为一个小男孩的生活，以及母亲威尔士王妃戴安娜于1997年不幸身亡的事件，同时也将包括他与妻子梅根·马克尔的故事，以及他的喜悦——发现自己成为“丈夫和父亲”。
有消息称，哈里王子回忆录自去年开始创作，目前初稿已接近完成，书中将有超280位人物出场。这一回忆录可能会在2022年年底英国女王加冕70周年纪念日当天出版，该书目前尚未命名，其出版后的所有收益将捐给慈善机构。
11、洛杉矶警局引爆非法烟花事故调查出结果了：技师装错炸药重量
【侨报网】19日，洛杉矶市警局6月30日非法烟花引爆事故初步调查结果出炉，警方认为计算上的差错应是此次事故的原因。洛杉矶市警局局长表示，在非法烟花引爆前，爆破小队技师估计放入专用引爆装置的爆炸物为16磅。而数据显示，当时装入引爆装置的爆炸物为42磅，远超出引爆装置的抗爆炸能力。
6月30日，洛杉矶市警局试图将在南洛杉矶收缴的非法烟花放入专用装置在现场引爆，当时警方考虑移动这些非法烟花很危险。但由于人为疏失，此次引爆导致严重事故，现场及附近区域17人受伤，其中包括10名警员，此外周围房屋损毁严重，警方专门用于引爆爆炸物的车辆也遭炸毁。
