Ekene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuFillerA brief account of my day; basically a filler to avoid getting used to missing recording.2021-09-2603 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuConsistency MotivationJust keep moving, step one foot after the other. Motivation may find you along the way; and when it does, it would have found you at some progress from the start line.2021-09-1209 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuLet's Start Making SenseTurns out you say more, when you actually have something to say.2021-09-0411 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuTripsSome mumbo-jumbo around travel, and means.2021-08-2905 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuMusicMusic. A universal language, which one understands even if unable to speak or read it. Transcends borders, inclinations, beliefs. There's no faulting the sound of music.2021-08-1403 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuFillerSecond time writing this, the first composition got cleared. So I almost missed today's episode; but yeah, I didn't. Listening to my recording gave me the feedback that it wasn't quite clear and audible, which was why I passed on using background music; wouldn't want to drown my voice yunno. Maybe naming this Filler is 'cause I think not much passed, but maybe some did.2021-08-0705 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuStep Back UpI missed my session for last week; and after that first miss, I noted it was now easier for me to miss another, or to stop all together. It's easier to turn off the fire after the flames have dwindled. But applying the brake doesn't mean the throttle is out of play. I mean, crests and troughs are both essential parts of a wave. Consistency may not imply having gone without any stops; it could also be going on despite any stops.2021-07-3104 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuA Toast to MasteringI attended a couple of Toastmasters International meetings back in 2019, before I left my then location. I was really impressed by the meeting programme, and how it impresses upon one, calls upon one to improve and develop one's expression and presentation skills. That's part of what this podcasting journey is about: improving my ability to speak on the go, and express thoughts succinctly and brilliantly enough orally. The journey is still on, and I hope and believe there will be motion with session, such that there's improved quality with each addition to quantity. So here, a toast to mastering🥂.2021-07-1705 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuContinuing...Beginning may well be the easier part. Taking step after step towards progress is where the more work is. And here's me taking another in this journey of improvement.2021-07-1004 minEkene Dili ChukwuEkene Dili ChukwuBeginning...They say the hardest step is usually the first. But maybe it isn't just. Maybe the hardest step is always the next, of which the first could be one. I begin this journey in pursuit of personal improvement and development, and intend to get better with each next. We learn to do by doing innit? I didn't edit this first draft before publishing, 'cause I want to follow each true step of my growth; such that it isn't scripted or rehearsed. Such that it is really me. To growth🥂.2021-07-0303 minThink BIG for Africa PodcastThink BIG for Africa PodcastEuropean Super League, Using Sports to Build Leadership and Teamwork Amongst African Youths | Ekene UzorThis is a bonus chip from my exciting conversation with Ekene Uzor( @ekeneuzor). Discussing the failed European Super League, African Sports, and how Sports can help build leadership and teamwork.2021-06-2525 minThink BIG for Africa PodcastThink BIG for Africa PodcastNgozi Okonjo-Iweala (WTO), Trade Value Chain, AfCFTA, Covid Vaccine Nationalism, and the Future of Energy in Africa | Ekene UzorThis episode is fantastic for business people who want to trade across Africa. My guest in today’s conversation is my friend Ekene Uzor (my namesake).  Ekene works for one of the premier multilateral development banks in Africa.
