Unsere kleine Reihe über die Filme der 1990er Jahre führt uns in dieser Folge ins Vereinigte Königreich nach Schottland. Danny Boyle siedelte dort seinen Druchbruch TRAINSPOTTING über eine Gruppe Heroin-Abhängiger um Ewan McGregor an. Der Kultfilm basiert auf einem Roman von Irvine Welsh, der sich auch für den von uns bereits besprochenen FILTH verantwortlich zeichnet.
Was den Film sehenswert macht, inwiefern er exemplarisch für die 90er steht und weiteres besprechen Daniel, Michi und Niels.
