A New Beginning [instrumental]
This is the companion song to "These Streets"; essentially the outro jam if it were to be played live.

The Moon is a Sardonic Mistress
These Streets
Apparently, disco is not dead....yet. Nor, hip-hop. This song was inspired by hearing a Jay-Z (and R. Kelly) song called "The Streets" (thx for the tip!😉 ) ...when combined with a "disco-esque" mood and "Grateful Dead-ish" musical leanings , the mixture combined to equal a jammy-disco song about "the streets"...all of which I'm intimately familiar; certainly disco, anyway. Lastly, including a "dancin' in the streets" bridge was beyond question once the entire picture came into focus....either that, or I just ran out of street cred near the middle of the tune. Probably both.

The Moon is a Sardonic Mistress
Oh! Darling...The Water is Fine
[Original Composition: Paul McCartney (Lennon/McCartney), "Abbey Road" 1969. Apple Records] This track is a cover/interpretation of "Oh! Darling". This version of the song bears little resemblance to its superior progenitor. The image in my head for this song is kinda a surfer guy who who dropped by John Lilly's house back in September 1969 and heard Abbey Road for the first time while floating in John Lilly's personal sensory deprivation tank....oh and he just heard a rumor that Yoko and John were getting off the bus...a tour that was no longer super mysterious or magical....arguably the most...

The Moon Is A Sardonic Mistress
FYI: This track is not based on the science fiction novel, "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein...per se. I'm sure it could be interpreted as such; but only after rigourous training in the art of mental acrobatics.
