Tom Dreesen & Frank Sinatra
Tom Dreesen’s uniquely American trajectory took him from desperately impoverished roots in the streets and saloons of Harvey, Illinois to sharing a stage with Frank Sinatra. Tom’s path is the stuff of both inspiration and legend. One of America’s finest standup comics, he served as Frank’s opening act for 14 years, becoming a most trusted friend. Tom’s gift with a yarn endeared him to Mr. Sinatra which in turn provided Tom with so many more sensational stories to share. He's serving up some of his finest right here with Fritz and Weezy.Path Points of...

There is Wisdom in Change
There is Wisdom in Change How to be a Cow with no Nostrils In this episode, Frank and Lisa continue exploring awareness in the context of the changing corona virus pandemic. We are all witness to a very changing lifestyle guided both by our intense desire to return to normal life, while at the same time knowing that it could be dangerous. How you move around in the world is a matter of practical concern, but from the awareness perspective, brings up the idea of impermanence. When one "takes a backward step" and looks at each...

Frank and Gwendolyn Coleman - The Crow on the Cradle (Sydney Carter)
Frank and Gwendolyn Coleman were actors and singers in New York City in the 1960s. They recorded over 200 songs, separately and together, until Frank's death in 1970 at the age of 35, from undiagnosed high blood pressure. Many of the original tapes are lost or extremely fragile, but a full-length cassette from Gwen's sister surfaced in 2017 and was digitally remastered by their son, Frank IV.
