两个荷兰好兄弟在2015年，成立了一家名叫Fruitleather的公司，直译过来就是“水果皮”公司，他们主动在当地市场回收水果和蔬菜废料，他们把被丢弃的芒果、橙子、油桃和苹果等水果，捣碎煮熟，在经过风干等工序之后，把它们制作成“纯素皮革”。经过多种测试，他们最后选定了芒果作为原料，选芒果，一是因为芒果的纤维比较多，二是因为荷兰废弃的芒果特别多。

(Charkheh) چرخهاپیزود 13-فصل 1- مد چرخه‌ای: نوآوریهای بر پایه بیودر آینده الیاف باید از چه موادی ساخته بشن تا پایدارتر باشن و اثرات منفي از خودشون به جا نگذارن؟ چه نوآوريهاي دیگه‌ای باید اتفاق بیفته تا صنعت مد چرخه‌اي پایدارتر بشه؟ آیا شما لباسی که از قارچ ، پوست میوه و عروس دریایی ساخته شده باشه رو خواهید پوشید؟
در این اپیزود با مواد پایدار بیو(زیستی) که میتوانند به عنوان مواد اولیه برای منسوجات استفاده شوند مثل قارچ، جلبک، زایدات میوه و زایدات کشاورزی آشنا می شوید. همین‌طور آینده ای که مد چرخه‌ای به سمت آن می‌رود بخصوص مفهوم nearshoring و نیز نقش شبکه‌های اجتماعی و اینفلوئنسرها برای آگاه‌سازی و فرهنگ‌سازی مورد بحث قرار می‌گیرد.
