I interviewed Professor Senecal in 2023 at the conclusion of the fall semester. Gary Senecal received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of West Georgia in 2015 and has served as a professor at Assumption University since 2014. During this time, he has taught courses ranging from Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Human Disability Across the Lifespan, Client Assessment, Military Psychology – the Social Reintegration of Veterans, and Sports Psychology. He has been a member of the Army Reserves since 2013. This was my favorite interview so far. What a dude. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you for the support.

Do we need the church? - Uniting Narratives #18
In this video, I explore why young people are antichurch. I made this video because I noticed most young people oppose church participation when it comes up in conversation. They usually have compelling arguments about the nature of the church, but I think those arguments are lame. I don't go into depth regarding those three arguments, although someone should. Maybe I will down the line. I hope you enjoy. Have a blessed week. Also the song is "Unbothered" by Nick Bittner aka "Lil Bit" on apple/spotify. Check him out!

Homie Hour #2 - Uniting Narratives Episode 17
We came up with a new name for the group discussions! Josh's original idea was Humble Homie Hour, but we landed on this. This was a great conversation. From now on, I will be bringing the questions to the discussion table to facilitate conversation. I didn't have much time to plan for this episode because it was a last minute schedule, but moving forward I will come up with some dope/engaging questions. Basically, I don't like the question I started with, but I love the discussion that came from it naturally. I am blessed to have these dudes...

Uniting Narratives Episode 15: Group Discussion #1
As I explained in the intro, this was a vision I saw a few months ago. It wasn't until a recent discussion with Josh Rubin (seen in far left of video) which helped us form this vision into reality. I will be doing these weekly (I hope) with different individuals who have different ideas. If you are interested, email @unitingnarratives@gmail.com. Thank you for your time.

Different Paths, Shared Journeys-An Interview with Josh Rubin
This episode I spoke with one of my good friends. Josh and I became closer during our travels to Peru. I invited him to come on to the pod because of his open-mindedness . He is willing to talk about everything. Thank you, Josh. My favorite quote from Josh this episode: "What do you do when no one is looking at you? Do you choose right or wrong? Do you chose easy or hard? That is what mental strength is about."

Give him a follow, and check out his music. I love Nikey's mentality which is emphasized in his brand, "GoGetters". I'm impressed with his values, awareness, and faith. Show love. What is the Antidote to Adversity?
This is the first episode that involves a student as a guest. In the episode, we discuss a wide range topics. We brought up adversity because it ended up being an important part of the second recording. Mike and I had technical difficulties twice to the extent where it was better to scratch the recording. I don't plan the conversation. It was cool to have three different conversations with Mike. Additionally, I am doing that stupid challenge he did. The 4 x 4 x 48. David Goggins created it a while ago. I'll give myself to the end of November. who is going...
