Lee Shau-kee, founder of Hong Kong's Henderson Land Development and one of the city's most successful property businesspeople and philanthropists, died on Monday at the age of 97.香港恒基兆业地产创始人、香港最成功的房地产商人和慈善家之一李兆基于周一去世,享年97岁。Lee passed away peacefully at dusk, surrounded by his family, according to a statement by Henderson.据恒基兆业声明,李兆基在家人的陪伴下于黄昏时分安详离世。Born to a merchant family in Shunde, Guangdong province in 1928, Lee started in his business in Hong Kong in his twenties and established Henderson in 1976.1928年,李兆基出生于广东顺德的一个商人家庭,他二十多岁时开始在香港经商,并于1976年创立恒基兆业。Lee's decades-long success in real estate development and investment made him one of the wealthiest people in the world.
