关于艺术家
白道明（Bai Dao-Ming)最新展览《风平浪静》（Le vent s’efface, la mer se tait）将于10月15日在IESA艺术空间开幕, 这也是艺术家在巴黎举办的第二次个展。本次展览为音乐管理专业硕士二年级黄俊铭同学的的个人项目。旨在通过对IESA原有展览空间的理解与再塑造，表现艺术家对其总体艺术观念创作的思考。
白道明出生于中国沈阳。自2014年起定居法国，分别毕业于第戎国立高等美术学院（École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon） 和巴黎-塞尔吉国立高等艺术学院（École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy），现居住并工作于巴黎。
他曾在世界各地举办个人展览，如巴黎Sol画廊的《幽灵》(Fantôme)展和上海WhiteLine画廊的同名展览，以及北京墨海堂画廊的Ombra Cara展览。2019年，艺术家创作了电影《萤火虫》(Luciole)，其中核心部分主要在第戎的12世纪罗曼建筑圣菲利贝尔教堂(Église Saint-Philibert de Dijon)拍摄。2020年，尽管疫情影响，电影《萤火虫》获得哥本哈根Luminous Frames电影节奖项，并入选柏林Flash Film电影节官方评选。
2022年，受第戎市邀请，白道明在圣菲利贝尔教堂举办了个人展览《萤火虫》。该展览在欧洲博物馆之夜(Nuit européenne des musées)期间赢得了观众的一致赞誉，并受到了相关机构的高度评价。
此次在IESA举办的新展《风平浪静》，是艺术家对母亲的致敬。他的母亲逝世于2023年10月23日
