Evke Rulffes ist Kulturwissenschaftlerin. Sie promovierte 2018 an der Humboldt-Universität Berlin mit einer Arbeit über »Die angewiesene Frau. Christian Friedrich Germershausens ›Hausmutter‹«, in der sie sich mit alten Haushaltsratgebern der Spätaufklärung beschäftigte. Außerdem ist sie Redaktionsmitglied der Zeitschrift ilinx – Berliner Beiträge zur Kulturwissenschaft. Sie lebt heute als Kuratorin und Autorin in Berlin.
