We often use transdiaphragmatic echocardiography—especially transesophageal echo (TEE)—to better understand what’s happening in the left heart, and particularly the right heart, which can be difficult to assess with transthoracic views alone. Today, I gave a lecture focused on transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)—an advanced approach to cardiac ultrasound performed via the esophagus.
