Jen, of course, can't resist comparisons to Vampire Diaries and The Summer I Turned Pretty, but that's due in large part to all three being instances of siblings. It's actually a very interesting discussion as we explore the de-deification of Laurel Lance (at least in Oliver's eyes) and the implications on the trajectory of the show as a whole.
