Joe Biden's Inauguration, America, Uganda, and DemocracyIn this episode we reflect on this very important day-- January 20th 2021. An important day in the United States (and indeed the world).
We also discuss the chaos in Uganda and how that could (hopefully) inspire ALL Americans to appreciate the institutions that made Joe Biden's inauguration possible. A safe and transparent transfer of power-- in spite of the events of January 6th.
America is NOT perfect... but in the eyes of Ugandans and others living under dictatorships, it is pretty darn close.
