Congress cut public media funding. Now what?
KYUK is the oldest Native American-owned radio station in the country. Late last week, Congress passed a rescissions bill that claws back the money set aside for public broadcasting for the next two years. For KYUK, this money represents close to 70 percent of its entire budget. Without it, the station could go dar...

How Did Nam Sa-go, the Author of Kyuk-Am-Yu-Rok, Come to Write This Book?Nam Sa-go is the author of book of prophecy, Kyuk-Am-Yu-Rok. He was a person who had the ears of heaven; he could hear messages from heaven. The book is the answers to questions about the future which he wrote down. After writing the book, he claimed that he received it from a god because he feared what might happen to him if he admitted that he wrote it himself.God does not write books. Man is...

Kyuk-Am-Yu-Rok, a Book of Prophecy, Describes the Savior As Being the “King of the Clouds in the Sky”, and “the True Master of Paradise”. What Does This Description Mean? When it is said that the Savior is the “king of the clouds in the sky”, it means he is the true master of the sky - heaven - itself. This is because the clouds themselves are the sky; the purple mist and the sunset are also the sky. Not only is the Savior who is to come the master of the sky, he is also the mas...

Local Live - Red Stuff
Red Stuff started out as an instrumental 2 piece in the winter of 2007 comprised of Kelly Wanderer on electrified autoharp and Tom Wanderer on electric guitar. This duo released a 4 song 7” in the summer of 2008, but were eager to expand the group and the sound. An early stint with drummer Peterson Kyuk-White got things off the ground, and his contributions to the Best Of Hot Rod Love LP and a handful of shows turned an esoteric musical project into a rock band. Joe Scheltema took over on drums for a memorable summer that culminated in the Pagan Rock 10”. After working with two...
