Religious trauma like all trauma is unresolved (or unprocessed) experiences that are 'stuck' in our nervous system. Religious trauma comes from things such as harmful indoctrination, which is often coupled with maladaptive coping mechanisms. We acknowledge in this episode that we all have trauma because we're all wired with nervous systems.
