After relocating to Los Angeles in 2012, Miranda expanded her credits as the Los Angeles Casting Director for the independent feature Icaros: A Vision, where she spent three weeks in the Amazon jungle of Iquitos, Peru, working closely with the local cast of native Shipibo-Conibo people to help shape authentic performances.
