Dr. David Marwell on Josef Mengele and the Memory of the Holocaust
Dr. Marwell spent 9 years with the US Justice Department and served as the Chief of Investigative Research, presiding over the prosecution of Nazi war criminals in the United States. From 1988-1994 he served as the Director of the Berlin Document Center, an archive consisting of captured personnel-related files pertaining to the Nazi Party and its related organizations. He was instrumental in the investigations into Klaus Barbie and Josef Mengele, and aided in the authoring of the key reports that followed.
