Breath of Joy
Feeling in a low mood or low energy? Stand up! Plant your feet squarely under you, inhale deeply as you reach your arms to the sky, biceps frame your ears, open your mouth and let out an audible exhale as you send your arms wide, hinge at the waist and fold towards the Earth. Inhale as you rise tall once again, fingers reaching for the sun. Loud open mouth exhale as you fold in half. Continue with breath of joy as long as you want or need.

Taking 3 collective breaths has an ability when practiced consistently to calm the mind and body. Sometimes when a little more is needed, I find pressure between my palms as they press against each other and draw the pressure specifically into fingertips as hands lift overhead. This localized pressure can bring a centering focus to even the wildest moments. Try it!
