Sam became a household name in 2017 after leading USC to an unforgettable Rose Bowl win over Penn State as a freshman. He was drafted third overall by the New York Jets in 2018 and became the youngest opening-day starting quarterback in NFL history. Sam was traded to the Panthers in 2021, where he became teammates with Lisa's son, Christian McCaffrey.
