संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 21 में पुण्य सप्ताह के बुधवार तक की घटनाओं का वर्णन है।
हम कल्पना कर सकते हैं कि प्रभु येसु के साथ क्या-क्या बीता होगा। वे सबकुछ जानते थे। वे जानते थे :-
- आखरी बार येरूसालेम मंदिर में लोगों को शिक्षा दे रहे हैं।
- यही लोग जिन्हें वे शिक्षा दे रहे हैं और जिन्हें चँगा कर रहे हैं, एक ही दिन बाद उनके विरुद्ध खड़े होंगे।
प्रभु येसु के साथ ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं हुआ जिसके बारे में उन्हें पूर्व-जानकारी नहीं रही होगी।
इन बातों को ध्यान में रख कर इस अध्याय की बातों को ध्यान से पढ़ें :-
विधवा के दो अधेले - यह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं कि हम कितना देते हैं। यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है कि देने के बाद हमारे पास कितना बचता है। वह विधवा अपना सबकुछ दे डाली। उसके पास और कुछ भी नहीं था। पिता ईश्वर भी हमारे लिए यही किये। उनके पास और कुछ भी बचा नहीं था जैसे संत पौलुस कहते हैं। प्रभु येसु (पुत्र ईश्वर) के आपस भी और कुछ भी बचा हुआ नहीं था। अपना अंतिम बूँद खून तक हमारे लिए बहा दिए। हम कैसे देते हैं?
मन्दिर के विनाश की भविष्यवाणी - प्रभु की भविष्यवाणी 70 ई.में पूरी हुई जब येरूसालेम मंदिर ढा दिया गया। लगभग 2000 साल होने के बाद भी वह दुबारा नहीं बना पाया है।
विपत्तियों का प्रारम्भ - जो भविष्यवाणी प्रभु किये थे उन में से सबकुछ पूरा हो चुका है। वास्तव में ये सब सब पीढ़ियों के साथ होती आई है और होगी भी। इसके लिए प्रभु का उपाय यही है - "अपने धैर्य से तुम अपनी आत्माओं को बचा लोगे"।
महासंकट - प्रभु की भविष्यवाणी पूरी हो चुकी है।
मानव पुत्र का पुनरागमन - प्रभु येसु के पुनरागमन के बारे में वर्णन है। हमें हमेशा तैयार रहने प्रभु ने कहा है। वह दिन कभी भी आ सकता है।
यह कब होगा - प्रभु स्पष्ट समय तो नहीं बताते हैं। लेकिन यह बात स्पष्ट है कि सबकुछ पूरा होगा। कब होगा ? इसकी चिंता नहीं करना है।
चौकसी - इससे बच कर ईश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश करने का रास्ता भी प्रभु हमें बताये हैं - "जागते रहो और सब समय प्रार्थना करते रहो"।
अन्तिम दिनों का कार्यक्रम - प्रभु को कभी भी येरूसालेम में ठहरते हुए हम सुसमाचार में नहीं पढ़ते हैं। यद्यपि संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार "येरूसालेम-केंद्रित" है, प्रभु वहाँ रात नहीं बिताते।

संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 20 में प्रभु येसु अपने दुश्मनों को उन्हीं के घर में सामना करते हैं। प्रभु येसु और उनके विरोधियों के बीच का टकराव और बढ़ते जाता है। इस अध्याय की बातें इस प्रकार हैं :-
अधिकार का प्रश्न - पिछले अध्याय के समापन में प्रभु येसु मंदिर से सभी व्यापारी और उनकी चीजों को बाहर कर दिए। इसलिए महायाजक, शास्त्री और नेता (यहूदियों के सबसे शक्तिशाली लोग) प्रभु से उनके अधिकार के स्रोत के बारे में उनसे सवाल करते हैं। प्रभु सीधा जवाब देने के बजाए उनसे एक सवाल करते हैं जिसका वे जवाब नहीं देते हैं।
हिंसक असामियों का दृष्टान्त - उनके विरोधियों के सामने ही प्रभु अपना अंतिम दृष्टान्त (संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार के अनुसार) सुनाते हैं। हम कल्पना कर सकते हैं कि माहौल कितना गरम रहा होगा ! जो कुछ होने वाला था, उसका भविष्यवाणी इस दृष्टान्त के द्वारा प्रकट करते हैं।
कैसर का कर - कैसर रोम सम्राट थे। उनको कर देने के बारे में सवाल पूछ कर प्रभु को फ़साने का षड्यंत्र यहूदी नेता करते हैं। यह प्रश्न दुधारी तलवार के समान है। जवाब "हाँ" में देते तो प्रभु को देश-द्रोही बोलते और "नहीं" में जवाब होने से कैसर के विरुद्ध लोगों को भटकाने के कारण पकड़ा जाते। माहौल बहुत ही गरम होता जा रहा था। प्रभु अपना लक्ष्य पूरा करने से पीछे हटने वाले नहीं हैं।
मृतकों का पुनरुत्थान - सदूकी, पुनरुत्थान में विश्वास नहीं करने वाले, प्रभु से पुनरुत्थान के बारे में प्रश्न पूछ कर उन्हें फ़साने की कोशिश करते हैं। प्रभु इस अवसर का लाभ उठाते हुए पुनरुत्थान के बारे में उन्हें शिक्षा दिए, साथ ही साथ ईश्वर के बारे में भी। इसका सार इस प्रकार है, " वह (ईश्वर) मृतकों का नहीं, जीवितों का ईश्वर है, क्योंकि उसके लिये सभी जीवित हैं।"
मसीह, दाऊद के पुत्र - जो उन्हें फ़साने आये, प्रभु अभी उन्हीं को फ़साने एक सवाल पूछते हैं। स्तोत्र ग्रंथ से एक वाक्य लेकर प्रभु सवाल करते हैं। लेकिन उनका जवाब नहीं दिया गया है।
शास्त्रियों को धिक्कार - शास्त्रियों के बारे में प्रभु का यह अभियोग दोनों के बीच की दुश्मनी को और गहरा कर देता है।

नाकेदार ज़केयुस - ज़केयुस नगर के एक प्रमुख और धनी नाकेदार थे। यदि इस वाक्य को एक यहूदी पढ़ते तो ऐसा होता - ज़केयुस नगर के एक प्रमुख और धनी "पापी" था ! लेकिन प्रभु येसु के नज़र में "यह भी इब्राहीम का बेटा" था। इसका सन्दर्भ भी बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है - प्रभु येसु येरूसालेम के निकट थे, अर्थात मृत्यु के निकट। ज़केयुस के मनपरिवर्तन की घटना, वह भी प्रभु येसु के अंतिम दिनों में, हमें बहुत कुछ सिखा सकता है। हम भी ज़केयुस के मनोभाव को अपनाते हुए मुक्ति के राह पर आगे बढ़ते जाएँ।
अशर्फ़ियों का दृष्टान्त - अंतिम दिनों के बारे में शिक्षा देने के लिए प्रयोग किये गए इस दृष्टान्त के अंत में प्रभु अपने दुश्मनों पर अपना निशाना लगाते हैं। हमें ईश्वर जो भी वरदान दिए हैं हमें उनका पूरा-पूरा प्रयोग करना चाहिए। सबकुछ ईश्वर की महत्तर महिमा के लिए हमें करना चाहिए।
येरूसालेम में ईसा का प्रवेश - जैसे इस सुसमाचार के प्रारम्भ में ही हम ने देखा कि संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार येरूसालेम-केंद्रित है। प्रभु येसु का येरूसालेम में इस प्रकार प्रवेश उनका यहूदियों के राजा होने को दर्शाता है। प्रभु येसु राजा दाऊद से ईश्वर की प्रादिज्ञा को पूरा करते हुए इस प्रकार येरूसालेम में प्रवेश किये।
येरूसालेम पर विलाप - येरूसालेम ईश्वर का निवास-स्थान था। लेकिन जब वही ईश्वर मानव बनकर आये वही येरुसलेम अपने प्रभु को पहचान नहीं पाया। इसलिए प्रभु येसु की यह भविष्यवाणी 70 ई. में पूरी हुई।
मन्दिर से बिक्री करने वालों का निष्कासन - प्रभु येसु का येरूसालेम पर विलाप का मुख्य कारण यही है। वे ईश्वर के निवास को व्यापार का केंद्र बना दिए। इसलिए प्रभु अपने निवास को शुद्ध करते हैं।
मन्दिर में शिक्षा - प्रभु अपने घर, मंदिर, में ही लोगों को शिक्षा देने लगे। सामान्य लोग प्रभु की बातों को ध्यान से सुनते जबकि शक्षित वर्ग उनका सर्वनाश करने का रास्ता ढूँढ रहा था। एक ही व्यक्ति, लेकिन उनके प्रति लोगों का व्यावहार अलग-अलग है।

बुरा उदाहरण - प्रलोभन पाप का द्वार कहा जा सकता है। हम जाने अनजाने में एक दूसरे के लिए पाप का कारण बन जाते हैं। दूसरों के गुस्सा का कारण बनना भी तो पाप है। प्रलोभन का कारण केवल कर्म से ही नहीं सोच, हावभाव, पहनाव से भी हो सकता है।
क्षमाशीलता - क्षमा बोलना आसान है, लेकिन करना बहुत ही कठिन। क्षमाशीलता एक ईश्वरीय गुण और कार्य भी है। हम वचन में पढ़ते हैं कि केवल ईश्वर पाप-क्षमा कर सकता है। और वही ईश्वर हम से चाहता है कि हम भी उनके समान ईश्वरीय, अर्थात क्षमाशील बनें।
विश्वास - विश्वास ईश्वर का वरदान है। ईश्वर ही हमें यह वरदान दे सकते हैं। इसलिए शिष्यों ने प्रभु से अपने विश्वास को बढ़ाने की मांग की। लेकिन प्रभु एक महत्वपूर्ण बात को उन्हें समझाये। उन में विश्वास ही नहीं था। क्या हम में विश्वास है?
विनम्रता - हम चाहते हैं कि लोग हमारे कार्यों के लिए हमारी प्रशंसा करें। लेकिन प्रभु कहते हैं कि सबकुछ करने के बाद यह कहना है की "मैं तो सेवक मात्र ही हूँ"।
दस कोढ़ी - दस कोढ़ियों में से नौ यहूदी थे और एक गैर-यहूदी। प्रभु सबको चंगा करते हैं। यहूदी नियम का पालन करते हुए मंदिर गए, लेकिन वह गैर-यहूदी प्रभु के पास धन्यवाद देने आता है। और प्रभु उसको विश्वास का वरदान देकर घर भेजते हैं। चंगाई विश्वास का कारण बनना चाहिए। इनमें से हम किसके समान हैं?
ईश्वर के राज्य का आगमन - राज्य कहने से हमें इस दुनिया के राजा और उनके राज्य याद आते हैं। लेकिन प्रभु कहते हैं कि ईश्वर प्रकट रूप से नहीं आते हैं। हमें उनकी भाषा समझने की जरुरत है। और प्रभु कहते हैं कि वे हमारे बीच में हैं।
प्रभु का पुनरागमन - प्रभु के महिमापूर्ण दूसरे आगमन के समय सबकुछ बदल जायेगा। हमें अपने आपको बचाने की कोशिश नहीं करने का सलाह प्रभु देते हैं। हमें अपने बारे में नहीं बल्कि ईश्वर और उनके राज्य के बारे में चिंता करने की शिक्षा प्रभु हमें देते हैं।

संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 16 में हम प्रभु येसु की कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बातों को देख सकते हैं।
बेईमान कारिन्दा - इस दुनिया के व्यापारी बहुत चतुर होते हैं। प्रभु येसु वैसे ही एक कारिन्दा का उदहारण देकर हम, "ज्योति की सन्तान" से आहवान करते हैं कि हम भी स्वर्गराज्य के लिए चतुर बनें।
धन का सदुपयोग - इस दुनिया के धन को झूठा कहते हुए प्रभु कहते हैं कि जरूरतमंदों के लिए इसका प्रयोग कर हमें स्वर्गराज्य जाने की जरुरत है। कोई भी धन और ईश्वर की सेवा नहीं कर सकता। हम भी धन का उपयोग भोगविलास के लिए नहीं, बल्कि स्वर्ग पहुँचने के लिए करें। कैसे? जरूरतमंदों की सेवा करते हुए।
फ़रीसियों का लोभ - ईश्वर और मनुष्य की दृष्टिकोण अलग-अलग होती हैं। हम बाहरी रूप देखते, लेकिन प्रभु हृदय देखते हैं। इसलिए हम लोगों के सामने दिखावा करने की कोशिश करते हैं, ताकि लोगों के नज़र में हम अच्छे, धर्मी, धनी दिखें।
ईश्वर के राज्य के लिए उत्सुकता - प्रतीक्षा का समय समाप्त हो चुका है। ईश्वर का राज्य हमारे बीच है।
संहिता का महत्व - सहिंता की पूर्णता के लिए ही प्रभु येसु आये और उसको पूरा भी कर लिए।
विवाह का बन्धन - विवाह एक पुरुष और स्त्री को एक कर देता है। इस बंधन को कोई भी तोड़ नहीं सकता। इसलिए ईश्वर ने भी कहा है, "जिसे ईश्वर ने जोड़ा है उसे मनुष्य अलग न करें"।
अमीर और लाज़रुस का दृष्टान्त - इस दृष्टान्त के द्वारा प्रभु धन की जो शिक्षा इस अध्याय में शुरू किये, उसको पूर्णता की ओर ले जाते हैं। इस दृष्टान्त में हम कुछ विशेष बातों को देख सकते हैं। अमीर का नाम नहीं है, लेकिन कंकाल का नाम है। उसके नाम का अर्थ ही "ईश्वर ने मदद की" - "God has helped"। इस दुनिया के जीवन और अगले जीवन में जमीन और आसमान का अंतर है। इस दृष्टान्त से हमें शिक्षा लेकर अपने आपको सुधारने की जरुरत है। इस दृष्टान्त को बार-बार और बहुत ही ध्यान से पढ़िए।

संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 15 सुसमाचारों का सुसमाचार कहा जाता है। संत लूकस रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 15 सबसे प्रसिद्ध तीन दृष्टान्तों को देख सकते हैं।
इन तीनों दृष्टान्तों के द्वारा ईश्वर के प्रेम की गहराई हम जान सकते हैं। तीनों दृष्टान्तों में खोया हुआ ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण माना गया है। तीनों दृष्टान्त इस प्रकार हैं :-
भटकी हुई भेड़ का दृष्टान्त
खोया हुआ सिक्का
खोया हुआ लड़का
तीनों दृष्टान्तों का उद्देश्य एक ही है। यह विषय इतना महत्वपूर्ण है कि प्रभु येसु इस विषय को समझाने के लिए तीन-तीन दृष्टान्तों का प्रयोग करते हैं। तीनों दृष्टान्तों का उद्देश्य - "ईसा का उपदेश सुनने के लिए नाकेदार और पापी उनके पास आया करते थे। फ़रीसी और शास्त्री यह कहते हुए भुनभुनाते थे, "यह मनुष्य पापियों का स्वागत करता है और उनके साथ खाता-पीता है"। इस पर ईसा ने उन को यह दृष्टान्त सुनाया, ..."
यहूदी गैर-यहूदियों को पापी मानते थे। वास्तव में उनके धर्मग्रन्थ के अनुसार वे गैर-यहूदियों से संपर्क नहीं रख सकते थे। लेकिन प्रभु येसु उन अछूत लोगों को ईश्वर के लिए "ज्यादा" विशेष और प्रिय बताते हैं। नहीं-खोयी-हुई 99 भेड़ें इस्राएलियों को दर्शाता है और एक खोई हुई गैर-यहूदियों को। गैर-यहूदी हर पापी को दर्शाता है।
तीनों दृष्टान्तों में छुपी हुई भावनाएँ :- इन लिखित शब्दों के पीछे की भावनाओं को हमें देखने की जरुरत है। खोने में दुःख का अनुभव और पाने में ख़ुशी का अनुभव। ये शब्दों में नहीं बल्कि खान-पान और नाच-गान के द्वारा प्रकट किया जाता है।
इन तीनों दृष्टान्तों के महत्व को जानने हमें इनके अनलिखित बातों को महसूस करने की जरुरत है।

पश्चात्ताप - हम स्वाभाविक रूप से दूसरों की गलतियों को जल्दी ढूँढ लेते हैं। लेकिन प्रभु कहते हैं कि सबों को पश्चात्ताप की जरुरत है। अपने पापों को स्वीकारना और ईश्वर की इच्छा अनुसार जीना अनिवार्य है।
फलहीन अंजीर का पेड़ - यह दृष्टान्त हमारे प्रती ईश्वर की दया को दर्शाता है। ईश्वर चाहते हैं कि हम फलदायी बनें। इसके लिए ईश्वर हमें अवसर देते रहते हैं। लेकिन हमें इन अवसरों को ईश्वर की कमजोरी के रूप में नहीं बल्कि हमारी मुक्ति के लिए ईश्वर की दया के रूप में देखने की जरुरत है।
दुर्बल स्त्री को स्वास्थ्यलाभ - अठारह वर्षों से शैतान के वश में रहने वाली स्त्री को प्रभु चँगा करते हैं। वह दोनों शारीरिक और आत्मिक रुप से बंधन में थी। उसको पूर्ण छुटकारा देते हैं। लेकिन सब इससे खुश नहीं थे। वे चाह रहे थे कि लोग विश्राम दिन छोड़ कर अन्य दिनों में चंगाई के लिए आएं। लेकिन प्रभु के लिए कोई नियम रोक नहीं सकता।
राई का दाना और ख़मीर का दृष्टान्त - इन दोनों दृष्टान्तों द्वारा प्रभु येसु स्वर्गराज्य के गुण को हमारे सामने रखते हैं। ईश्वर को मनुष्यों की शक्ति की जरुरत नहीं है। ईश्वर को संख्या की भी जरुरत नहीं है। इन दोनों दृष्टान्तों में देखते हैं कि आकार में राई और खमीर बहुत ही छोटा है; लेकिन अपनी आकार की तुलना में कहीं गुना ज्यादा परिणाम लाते हैं। दूसरी समानता है - दोनों अंधकार में रहकर शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से अपना कार्य करते हैं। ईश्वर का राज्य भी यही करता है।
मुक्ति की कठिनता - मुक्ति पाना आसान नहीं है। इसके लिए हमें बहुत मेहनत करना पड़ेगा। प्रभु येसु कहते हैं कि हमें सँकरे द्वार से प्रवेश करना पड़ेगा जो कि इस दुनिया की नज़र में उचित नहीं है।
हेरोद का कपट - प्रभु येसु अपने मिशन से पूर्ण रूप से परिचित थे। उनके अनुमति के बिना कोई कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता था। प्रभु अपना जीवन अर्पित कर रहे थे।
येरूसालेम को चेतावनी - जैसे हम "संत लूकस रचित सुचमाचर का परिचय" देखे हैं - येरूसालेम इस सुसमाचार में एक विशेष स्थान पाता है। प्रभु इसको बचाने बहुत कोशिश किये, लेकिन लोग ईश्वर की अधीनता स्वीकार करने से इंकार कर दिए। क्या हम से भी प्रभु यही कह रहे होंगे?

निर्भीकता - निडरता परिपूर्ण जीवन और स्वतंत्रता की पहचान है। इस दुनियायी जीवन में हम डरते-डरते जीते हैं। डर जीवन का दूसरा नाम भी लग सकता है। प्रभु येसु ही हमें सच्ची स्वतंत्रता का वरदान दे सकते हैं। निडरता का कारण यह नहीं कि हम सक्षम हैं; बल्कि ईश्वर से हमारा सम्बन्ध। ईश्वर हम हर एक से व्यक्तिगत रूप से सम्बन्ध रखते हैं, न कि एक भीड़ से। हमारी पहचान, शक्ति, निर्भीकता, स्वतंत्रता, और संपूर्ण जीवन का स्रोत ईश्वर के साथ हमारा सम्बन्ध ही है।
मूर्ख धनी का दृष्टान्त - धन अलग-अलग होता है। जो एक देश में या जगह पर धन माना जाता है, जरुरी नहीं है कि दूसरे जगह पर भी धन माना जाये। जो दुनिया में धन माना जाता है, वो सब स्वर्ग में धन नहीं माना जाता है। इसलिए प्रभु कहते हैं कि हमें ईश्वर की दृष्टि में धनी बनने की जरुरत है।
विधाता पर भरोसा - यह शिक्षा हमें जीने का भरोसा देती है। ऊपर की शिक्षा की पूर्णता के रूप में हम इसको देख सकते हैं। ईश्वर हमारे पिता हैं और हम सब उनकी संतान हैं। प्रभु येसु इसी बात को बार-बार दोहराते हैं, "तुम्हारा पिता जानता है कि तुम्हें इनकी ज़रूरत है"। स्वर्गीय भंडार हमारे सामने खोल रख दिया गया है !
सच्चा धन - ईश्वर की दृष्टि में धनी बनने के बारे में प्रभु की शिक्षा हमें आगे ले जाता है। यहाँ हमें बताया जाता है कि सच्चा धन क्या है। प्रभु कहते हैं कि सच्चा धन स्वर्ग में जमा की जाने वाली "एक अक्षय पूँजी" है। हम कैसे पहचानें कि हमारा सच्चा धन कहाँ है? प्रभु कहते हैं, "जहाँ तुम्हारी पूँजी है, वहीं तुम्हारा हृदय भी होगा"। हम जाँच कर देखें कि हमारा हृदय कहाँ है।
चौकसी - अंत कब आएगा कोई भी नहीं जनता है। इसलिए प्रभु हमें हमेशा तैयार रहने को कहते हैं। इसलिए हमें अपनी मृत्यु अपनी आँखों के सामने रख कर जीने कहा गया है।
ईमानदार और बेईमान कारिन्दा - हर व्यक्ति को कोई न कोई जिम्मेदारी दी गयी है। उनको हमेशा निभाते रहना हमारा कर्त्तव्य है।
संघर्ष - प्रभु एक लक्ष्य, एक मिशन में आये हुए थे। उनका शरीरधारण का कारण भी वही है। प्रभु कहते हैं कि वे आग लेकर आये। यहाँ आग और बपतिस्मा उनकी मुक्तिदायी मृत्यु की ओर संकेत करते हैं।
फूट का कारण - प्रभु येसु शांति-का-राजा- जरूर कहलाते हैं। लेकिन वे कहते हैं कि वे फूट डालने आये हैं। क्योंकि कोई भी प्रभु को अनदेखा नहीं कर सकता। वह या तो प्रभु का साथ होगा या विरुद्ध।
समय की पहचान - अलग-अलग क्षेत्र के लिए अलग प्रकार की ज्ञान की जरुरत होती है। हम इस दुनिया के बारे में बहुत जानकारी रखते हैं, लेकिन स्वर्गराज्य को महत्व नहीं देते हैं और उसके बारे में बहुत काम जानकारी रखते हैं।
मुद्दई से समझौता - आपस में प्यार से रहने के बारे में प्रभु हमें शिक्षा देते हैं। आपसी मदभेद को लेकर न्यायालय जाने से बेहतर आपसी समझौता करना है।

बहत्तर शिष्यों का प्रेषण - प्रभु येसु अपने बहत्तर शिष्यों को अपने आगे यह शिक्षा देने भेजे, ’ईश्वर का राज्य तुम्हारे निकट आ गया है’। जहाँ प्रभु येसु हैं वही ईश्वर का राज्य है, क्योंकि प्रभु येसु ही राजा हैं। आज भी प्रभु येसु की प्रार्थना लहू होती है, "फ़सल तो बहुत है, परन्तु मज़दूर थोड़े हैं; इसलिए फ़सल के स्वामी से विनती करो कि वह अपनी फ़सल काटने के लिए मज़दूरों को भेजे।"
अविश्वासी नगरों को धिक्कार - प्रभु दो नगरों, खोराजि़न और कफ़रनाहूम, को धिक्कारते हैं; क्योंकि प्रभु येसु के कार्यों को देखते हुए भी, वे प्रभु में विश्वास नहीं कर पाए। क्या यह हमारे जीवन में भी नहीं होती? कहीं प्रभु दोनों शहरों के जगह पर हमारे नाम तो नहीं लेंगे?
बहत्तर शिष्यों का लौटना - प्रभु कलीसिया के सदस्यों के द्वारा अपना कार्य करते हैं। इसलिए सबों को अलग-अलग वरदान दिया गया है। हमें लोगों को इन वरदानों के आधार पर लोगों को मापना नहीं है। स्वर्ग में सबों को बराबर स्थान मिलेगा, क्योंकि सभी ईश्वर की संतान हैं।
भोलेपन की प्रशंसा - स्वर्गराज्य के रहस्यों को जानना का वरदान सबको नहीं दिया गया है। ईश्वर नम्र लोगों को पर ही अपने रहस्यों को प्रकट करते हैं।
सब से बड़ी आज्ञा - ईश्वर को "अपने सारे हृदय, अपनी सारी आत्मा, अपनी सारी शक्ति और अपनी सारी बुद्धि से" प्यार करना ही सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा है और अपने पडोसी को अपने समान प्यार करना उसका प्रकटीकरण है।
भले समारी का दृष्टान्त - संत लूकस में प्रभु येसु के अधिकतर उदाहरण गैर-यहूदियों का रहता है। वैसे ही इस प्रसिद्ध दृष्टान्त में भी प्रभु येसु एक समारी, एक गैर-यहूदी, का उदाहरण देते हैं। वास्तव में प्रभु येसु स्वयं ही यह भला समारी हैं।
मरथा और मरियम - यह परिवार प्रभु येसु के लिए एक विशेष परिवार था। जब भी प्रभु उस रास्ते जाते, वे जरूर इनके घर ठहरा करते थे। उनकी मृत्यु के पहले भी प्रभु इनके घर गए हुए थे। अध्याय 10 में जो वर्णन है, शायद यह परली बार होगा। इस घटना के द्वारा प्रभु कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बातों को हम पर प्रकट करते हैं। उनमें दो बातें इस प्रकार हैं - ईश्वर हमें अवसर देते हैं। चुनने की स्वतंत्रता हमारी है। दूसरी है - बहुत सारे कामों में व्यस्त रहने से बेहतर प्रभु के पास बैठकर उनकी सुनना है जो मरियम चुनी थी।

पवित्र नारियों की सेवा-परिचर्या- संत लूकस, एक गैर-यहूदी होने के कारण, अपने सुसमाचार में नारियों को भी विशेष स्थान दिए हैं।
बोने वाले का दृष्टान्त - दृष्टान्त दोधारी तलवार के समान हमेशा नया रहता है। सुनने वाले को जरूर प्रेरित करता है - सकारात्मक या नकारात्मक।
दृष्टान्तों का उद्देश्य- कुछ छुपाने और कुछ बताने।
बोने वाले के दृष्टान्त की वाख्या - प्रभु येसु में विश्वास करने का लाभ स्वर्गराज्य के रहस्यों को जानना है। प्रभु अपने शिष्यों को मित्र कहे थे, क्योंकि वे सभी बातों को उन प्रकट करते थे।
दीपक का दृष्टान्त- सबकुछ ईश्वर के लिए खुली-किताब के समान हैं। कुछ भी उन से छुपा नहीं है।
ईसा के सम्बन्धी- पिता के वचन के अनुसार जीने वाले ही प्रभु येसु के भाई, बहन और माता हैं। इस वचन को लोग माँ मरियम के विरुद्ध प्रयोग करते हैं जो कि पूर्ण रूप से गलत है। यहाँ प्रभु येसु अपनी माँ को और ऊपर उठा रहे हैं। धन्य कुँवारी मरियम इसलिए केवल प्रभु की माँ नहीं हैं कि उनहोंने प्रभु को जन्म दिया, इसलिए भी हैं क्योंकि उनसे बेहतर और कोई भी ईश्वर के वचन के अनुसार नहीं जी सके हैं और न कभी कोई जी पायेगा।
आँधी को शान्त करना - प्रकृति पर ईश्वर को छोड़ किसी का भी अधिकार नहीं है। इसलिए लोग प्रकृति को ईश्वर का दर्जा दिए। इस चमत्कार के द्वारा प्रभु अपनी वास्तविकता को अपने शिष्यों पर प्रकट किये।
गेरासा का अपदूतग्रस्त- बहुत दिनों से अपदूतों से ग्रसित व्यक्ति को, जो कपडा भी नहीं पहनता और मकबरों में रहा करता था, प्रभु येसु स्वतंत्र किये। उस व्यक्ति के लिए यह एक नया जन्म था। लेकिन उस शहर के लोग नहीं चाहे कि प्रभु येसु उनके यहाँ रहें। यहाँ प्रभु हैं वहाँ शैतान नहीं रह सकता। वे इतना कीमत नहीं देना चाहते थे। क्या हम भी ऐसे ही हैं?
जैरुस की बेटी और रक्तस्राव-पीडिता - यहाँ दो घटनाओं को एक साथ रखा गया है। प्रभु एक बारह बरस की लड़की को चंगा करने जाते हैं और उस मार्ग में और एक चमत्कार हो जाता है। वास्तव में यह चमत्कार प्रभु का नहीं है, पर उस रक्तस्रावपीड़िता का विश्वास का चमत्कार है। वह इस वरदान को चुरा लेती है।
जैरुस की बेटी को पभु मरने देते हैं, ताकि वे अपनी शक्ति प्रकट कर सकें। बारह बरस की लड़की को जिलाकर प्रभु अपनी ईश्वरीय शक्ति को प्रकट करते हैं।

कफ़रनाहूम का शतपति - "प्रभु! ... मैं इस योग्य नहीं हूँ कि आप मेरे यहाँ आयें।" हर पवित्र मिस्सा बलिदान में बोली जाने वाली इस प्रार्थना एक गैर-यहूदी शतपति की है। एक छोटा सा अधिकारी होने के बावजूद उसके अधीन काम करने वाले उसकी आज्ञा मानते थे। अपनी तुलना में वह प्रभु की शक्ति को समझ गया। क्या हम प्रभु को पहचानते हैं? आपका ईश्वर कितना बड़ा है?
नाईन का युवक - ईश्वर को हम पर तरस हो आया इसलिए वे मनुष्य बनकर आये। यह सुसमाचार के हर पन्ने में देखने को मिलता है। हमारे दुःखों को अपने ऊपर लेने वाला प्रभु युवक की माँ का दुःख अपने ऊपर लेकर उसके बेटे को नया जीवन देते हैं। आपका इस प्रकार का कोई अनुभव है क्या?
योहन बपतिस्ता के शिष्य - योहन बपतिस्ता प्रभु के आगमन की तैयारी करने आये। प्रभु के कार्यों की चर्चा सुनकर, योहन अपने शिष्यों को प्रभु के पास भेज कर स्पष्ट करते हैं। प्रभु भी योहन की प्रशंसा करते हैं।
ईसा की पीढ़ी को धिक्कार - "जो विश्वास करता है उसे कोई सबूत की जरुरत नहीं है और जो विश्वास नहीं करता उसको कोई भी सबूत पर्याप्त नहीं है"। संत ऑगस्टिन का यह कथन प्रभु के समय के लोगों के लिए सही साबित हुआ। क्या हम भी ऐसे ही हैं क्या?
पापिनी स्त्री - हम जितना प्रभु की क्षमा का अनुभव करते हैं और उसे स्वीकार करते हैं, उतना ही हम ईश्वर से प्यार कर पाते हैं। इसका मतलब यह नहीं की हमें कोई बड़े पपप करने की जरुरत हैं। हम हर कोई पापी है और ईश्वर की क्षमा की जरुरत हम हर एक को है। ईश्वर के प्रति हमारा प्यार वास्तविकता को प्रकट करता है।

Greater Glory of GodHindi Audio Bible Luke with Text | अध्याय 05 | सन्त लूकस रचित सुसमाचार | Gospel of Luke Chapter 05संत योहन रचित सुसमाचार अध्याय 5 में हम प्रभु येसु के प्रथम पांच शिष्यों के बुलाहट, दो चमत्कार और उपवास का प्रश्न को देख सकते हैं। वे इस प्रकार हैं :

मछुओं का बुलावा - प्रभु येसु के अधिक्तर शिष्य अनपढ़ मछुवे थे। प्रभु येसु एक बढ़ई थे। इस बढ़ई "गुरु" की बात को मान कर संत पेत्रुस और उनके तीन साथी दुबारा मछली पकड़ने जाते हैं। और इस बढ़ई एक "गुरु" से बढ़कर "प्रभु" निकले। उनके सामने संत पेत्रुस अपनी अपवित्रता को पहचान लेते हैं और कहते हैं, "प्रभु! मेरे पास से चले जाइए। मैं तो पापी मनुष्य हूँ।" (5:8) हमें भी अपनी वास्तविकता जानने प्रभु की वास्तविकता को पहचानना अनिवार्य है।
कोढ़ी को स्वास्थ्यलाभ - एक कोढ़ी प्रभु के पास आकर कहता है, "प्रभु! आप चाहें, तो मुझे शुद्ध कर सकते हैं।" कोढ़ी समाज के बाहर रहते थे। वे गाँव के अंदर नहीं आ सकते थे। प्रभु उसको चंगा करते हैं।
अर्ध्दांगरोगी - यह घटना बहुत विशेष है क्योंकि दूसरों के विश्वास के कारण प्रभु इस अर्ध्दांगरोगी को चंगा करते हैं। उसको शारीरिक रूप से चंगा करने के पहले वे उसके पापों को क्षमा करते हैं। क्षमा करना एक ईश्वरीय कार्य है।
लेवी का बुलावा - लेवी का दूसरा नाम मत्ती है। वह एक नाकेदार था जो देशविरोधी माने जाते थे। इस अशुद्ध व्यक्ति को न केवल प्रभु बुलाते हैं, वे उनके साथ खाते-पीते भी हैं। क्योंकि वे कहते हैं, "निरोगियों को नहीं, रोगियों को वैद्य की ज़रूरत होती है। मैं धर्मियों को नहीं, पापियों को पश्चाताप के लिए बुलाने आया हूँ।" (5:31-32)

प्रभु ईसा की परीक्षा - प्रभु येसु के बपतिस्मा के बाद आत्मा उन्हें निर्जन प्रदेश ले गया। प्रभु वहाँ 40 प्रार्थना में समय बिताये। फिर शैतान उनकी परीक्षा लिया। यह मरुभूमि में इस्राएलियों की यात्रा की याद दिलाती है। लेकिन प्रभु विजय पाते हैं।
गलीलिया में पुनरागमन - पूर्ण रूप से तैयार हो कर प्रभु गलीलिया लौटते हैं।
अविश्वासी नाज़रेत - जहाँ उनका पालन-पोषण हुआ, वहाँ के लोग प्रभु में विश्वास करने से इनकार करते हैं। उनको मारने तैयार होते हैं।
कफ़रनाहूम का अपदूतग्रस्त - प्रभु अधिकार के साथ लोगों को शिक्षा देते हैं। शैतान भी उनके अधीन हैं। इसलिए वे उनका आदेश मानते हैं।
पेत्रुस की सास - प्रभु का स्पर्श चंगा करता है।
बहुतों को स्वास्थ्यलाभ - हर प्रकार की बिमारियों को प्रभु दूर करते हैं और अपदूतों को निकालते हैं।
गलीलिया का दौरा - प्रभु लोगों की सेवा के साथ-साथ अपने पिता के साथ हमेशा जुड़े रहे और प्रार्थना में समय बिताया करते थे। वे अपने आपको सीमित नहीं रखते हैं।

ज़करियस का भजन - इस अध्याय का यह दूसरा भजन है। इस भजन का विशेषता इसलिए भी है कि ज़करियस जो पिछली घटना से गूंगे थे अब ईश्वर के बजन गाते दिखाई देते हैं।
