Εξελίξεις είχαμε και με την Apple, η οποία απασχόλησε την επικαιρότητα τις τελευταίες ημέρες αρχικά για την στροφή 180 μοιρών σε ότι αφορά την υποστήριξη web apps στο iOS, αλλά και την πρόσφατη κυκλοφορία των νέων MacBook Air με M3 SoC. Φυσικά η σημαντικότερη είδηση των τελευταίων ημερών σχετικά με την Apple αφορά το πρόστιμο ύψους 1,8 δισ. ευρώ που επιβλήθηκε στην εταιρεία από την Ε.Ε στο πλαίσιο της αντιμονοπωλιακής νομοθεσίας, και μετά από καταγγελία του Spotify.

Σε ότι αφορά τις ανακοινώσεις κινητών τηλεφώνων, εστιάζουμε στα νέα των TCL, HONOR, Motorola αλλά και της Xiaomi που λάνσαρει παγκοσμίως την κορυφαία σειρά Xiaomi 14. Η Samsung ξεχώρισε και φέτος, δείχνοντας μας για πρώτη φορά από κοντά τo Galaxy Ring, το έξυπνο δαχτυλίδι της εταιρείας που σηματοδοτεί την είσοδο της σε μια ανερχόμενη υποκατηγορία των wearables. Κατά τα άλλα η νοτιοκορεατική εταιρεία εστίασε αναμενόμενα στο Galaxy S24 και τις λειτουργίες του Galaxy AI για το οποίο μάθαμε ενδιαφέροντα πράγματα από τον επικεφαλής της ομάδας Language AI της εταιρείας, τον EVP YJ Kim.
Σε συνέχεια της μεγάλης της παρουσίας στη CES 2024, η TCL φέρνει στη Βαρκελώνη τα ευρωπαϊκά μοντέλα της σειράς TCL 50, που ξεχωρίζουν για ακόμη μια φορά για την σχέση τιμής-χαρακτηριστικών. Συνεχίζοντας να επενδύει στην τεχνολογία NXTPAPER, η κινεζική εταιρεία παρουσίασε ένα νέο μεγάλο tablet με οθόνη 14" που δεν κουράζει τα μάτια ακόμα και μετά από πολύωρη χρήση.
Κατά την επίσκεψή μας στο χώρο της Telekom στο MWC, στην οποία ανήκει η Cosmote, είδαμε από κοντά τις τεχνολογίες τεχνητής νοημοσύνης Magenta AI που αναπτύσσει. Παρουσίασε επίσης το Concept T, το οποίο προδιαγράφει το μελλοντικό σχεδιασμό και λειτουργίες των routers της εταιρείας.
Στη Lenovo ανήκουν δύο από τις πιο ενδιαφέρουσες ανακοινώσεις της έκθεσης σε επίπεδο concept, ρίχνοντας μια ματιά στο μέλλον. Η πρώτη είναι το πρώτο laptop με διάφανη οθόνη ενώ το δεύτερο είναι ένα smartphone από τη Motorola το οποίο μπορεί να λυγίσει και να τοποθετηθεί στον καρπό, αναλαμβάνοντας καθήκοντα έξυπνου ρολογιού.
Σε άλλα θέματα που μας έκαναν εντύπωση περιλαμβάνεται το Snapdragon X Elite chipset για τα επερχόμενα AI PC που θα τρέχουν τη νεότερη έκδοση των Windows.

Εν όψει της παρουσίας μας στο Λονδίνο για την παρουσίαση της Samsung αλλά και αργότερα στη Βαρκελώνη για την MWC, στο τελευταίο podcast των "3 στον αέρα" ασχολούμαστε με όλες τις πληροφορίες που έχουμε συλλέξει γύρω από τις επερχόμενες ανακοινώσεις των κορυφαίων εταιρειών του χώρου.
