Coach John Dewall is originally from Lakeland, MN attending Stllwater HS. In high school, he was a three sport athlete competing in cross country, nordic skiing, and track and field. After high school, he attended UW-Madison where he continued his nordic skiing career. Throughout this time, Coach Dewall was instrumental in mainstreaming the rollerblade, going from coast to coast with demonstrations. At 22, he was hired at Hastings HS, teaching agricultural science classes.
