Once I graduated, I received a music scholarship to Grambling State University. I joined the World Famed Tiger Marching Band in August 1977 and studied Music Education. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1982. During my time in the band, I played drums and saxophone and was assigned a position on the dance committee.
