Animation HotlineMarta Pajek, after the toneFilm director, graphic artist and painter, Marta Pajek is from Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and studied at the Animated Film Studio headed by Jerzy Kucia. She also participated in a training program lead by Priit Pärn at the Turku Arts Academy in Finland. Since then, she has directed short animated films, such as After Apples, Behind the Wall, or Sleepincord. We met at Ottawa International film festival in 2016 when she presented the second chapter of her singular trilogy "Impossible figures and other stories".
