Mary must have been very surprised to see her teacher after everything that had happened in the days preceding. She very likely didn’t know what part she was playing in the most incredible narrative and story that the world will ever know.
There were people who sought to rob the power of the Gospel in that day as well as there are today. The gospel however can’t be corralled and “managed” by man. It is living… it is the power of God.
