בודק את הידע שלך בשכיחות של אותיות בשפה (אהוד: בהנחה ש-2,500 המילים שהוא צמצם אליהן תואמות את הסטטיסטיקה). אבל למשל עדיף מילים עם e על x. וגם האם אתה מכיר מילים שמתחילות באות מסוימת או מסתיימות באות מסויימת.
ויש גם פונטיקה - אתה יודע שבאנגלית מילה יכולה להתחיל ב-tr כמו טרייב ולהסתיים ב-rt אבל לא להפך, מה שלא בהכרח נכון בשפות אחרות. אתה יכול להגיד blurb אבל לא rbulb ולכן המילה לא קיימת. חוץ להשתמש בשפה ולדעת את זה אינטואיטיבית עוזר בניחושים.
אבל מצד שני ייצוג של אותיות לא תמיד מייצג צליל. Sh זה צליל אחד עם שתי אותיות, ו-e היא לפעמים שקטה - כמו ב craze.
