Beberapa pasal di dalamnya mengatur soal kriteria minuman beralkohol, klasifikasi jenis kandungan alkohol, hingga pada sanksi bagi produsen, penjual dan yang mengonsumsinya. DESA MDC (Debat Santai MDC)#1 : Uji Materi Undang-Undang Penyiaran oleh RCTI dan iNewsGugatan uji materi Undang-Undang nomor 32 tahun 2002 tentang Penyiaran ke Mahkamah Konstitusi yang dilakukan oleh RCTI dan iNews TV menimbulkan polemik di masyarakat. Hal ini dikarenakan kekhawatiran masyarakat akan dibungkamnya kebebasan berekspresi jika gugatan tersebut dikabulkan.
