Διασχίζοντας το ΑιγαίοΉχοι της Μετανάστευσης: Μουσική, Μνήμη και Ταυτότητα στο ΑιγαίοΚαλώς ήρθατε στο νέο επεισόδιο της σειράς podcast «Διασχίζοντας το Αιγαίο: Ένας αιώνας ανθρώπων σε κίνηση», όπου εξερευνούμε τις ιστορικές και σύγχρονες διαστάσεις της μετανάστευσης στο Αιγαίο. Σε αυτό το επεισόδιο, συνεχίζουμε την εξερεύνηση της βαθιάς σύνδεσης μεταξύ της αναγκαστικής μετανάστευσης, της μνήμης και της μουσικής με τον καλεσμένο μας, Στέλιο Μωραΐτη, έναν γαλλο-ελληνικής καταγωγής υποψήφιο διδάκτορα Κοινωνικής Ανθρωπολογίας.Ο Στέλιος είναι μέλος της Μονάδας Έρευνας Μεταναστεύσεων και Κοινωνίας (URMIS) στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κυανής Ακτής. Διεξήγαγε έρευνα πεδίου για ενάμιση χρόνο στην Ελλάδα και την Τουρκία, εστιάζοντας στη μουσική και τη μετανάστευση. Για να καταδείξει πώς αυτοί οι φορείς διαμόρφωσαν ιστορικά τη μετανάστευση, αναδεικνύει τον ρόλο των μεσαζόντων στη υπερατλαντική μετανάστευση από την Ευρώπη στην Αμερική τον 19ο αιώνα.
