Как инструмент против тревожности музыка универсальна. Ее главная сила в том, что она меняет наше сознание и настроение, минуя разум, через чувственно-эмоциональный опыт. Рецепторы уха улавливают вибрации, передают информацию в мозг, который, как известно, управляет всем. Энергия музыки влияет на организм.
Стресс запускает в организме различные биологические реакции. Музыка же настолько сильна, что способна влиять на биологическую реакцию организма на стресс.
Громкие и размеренные удары влияют на рефлекс ствола мозга, «синхронизируя» нас с музыкой. Затем она может вызвать конкретные эмоции, создать определенные образы, «воскресить» воспоминания.
Силу воздействия музыки определяют также индивидуальные музыкальные предпочтения, социальный контекст прослушивания композиций, узнаваемость мелодии, наличие личных воспоминаний, связанных с услышанным.
Снять напряжение могут как спокойные композиции, так и энергичные. Одни постепенно «затормозят» нервную систему, другие приведут к равновесию через катарсис. Например, слушая музыку, напоминающую о бывшей возлюбленной, мы можем прийти к ощущению светлой грусти, благодарности за хорошие воспоминания, уверенности в том, что смогли справиться с непростым периодом в жизни – это возвращает веру в собственные силы!
