Ajoittain tuntuu, että itseohjautuvuus- ja hierarkiakeskusteluissa pompataan veneen toiselta laidalta suoraan toiselle laidalle. Tavallaan ratkaistaan kipukohtia toimimalla vastakohtaisesti, mikä harvoin on kuitenkaan se oikea ratkaisu. Yleisimmin balanssi löytyy jostain keskeltä.
Syitä tähän on varmasti monia, lähtien aidosta kokeilun halusta, mahdollisimman toimivan kulttuurin löytämiseen sekä esimerkiksi konkreettiseen vastuun pakoiluun. Ei uskalleta tai haluta ottaa sitä roolia mikä ei aina ole pelkkää piknikkiä ja jossa joutuu tekemään joskus koviakin päätöksiä.
