Episode 12: The One Where We Defend Our Expensive Habits
This episode starts with a confession about first-class flights, vacation splurges, and skincare habits, and quickly turns into a surprisingly honest conversation about money, worth, and what spending actually means at this stage of life. Natali, Carina, and Nicki talk through budgeting triggers, growing up with scarcity, privilege, ego purchases, and the quiet shift from chasing dopamine buys to choosing what truly feels good. Along the way, they debate handbags, cars, airline lounges, and why time might be the most expensive thing of all. It’s funny, reflective, and deeply relatable. You’ll laugh, cringe, and probably rethink at leas...

Episode 10: The One Where We Talk About the Life We Chose
This episode starts with childhood crush confessions and somehow spirals into seeing dead people, believing in Santa, and whether any of us would survive being stranded in a foreign country. Natali, Carina, and Nicki dive into dating quirks, deal breakers, finances, motherhood expectations, choosing not to have kids, and the friendships you want in your corner when life gets real. It’s equal parts nostalgic, hilarious, and unexpectedly deep, with big questions about who we thought we’d be and who we actually became. You’ll laugh, cringe, and leave wondering which friend you’d call in an emergency.

Loneliness Increases Dementia Risk by 60%
It IS possible to reduce your risk for dementia such as Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, lewy body dementia, etc. A 2021 study based out of Japan showed that older adults who had emotional loneliness were 60% more likely to develop Alzheimer's disease within 5 years compared to those who were not lonely. They asked 3 specific questions to determine if someone was emotionally lonely and a yes answer to any of the 3 items meant the person was emotionally lonely and at risk. This is one of many studies to show that how you live your life really does impact your risk for dementia.

One of the biggest blocks to changing challenging dementia behaviors that don't make sense to us is labeling them. For example, say your mom won't bathe, sometimes for weeks.
