She was born February 25, 1925, in Spencer County, IN, daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Bauer) Huebschman.
Leona graduated from Troy High School in 1943 and then spent the next 9 years working at General Electric as a solderer. She was united in marriage to Alva P. Kleaving on April 7, 1951, and they shared 56 years together before his passing in 2008.
