Eine Heterozygotie wurde einerseits nach Knorr et al. angenommen, wenn der 17-OHP-Spiegel 60 min. nach ACTH-Stimulation 260 ng/dl überstieg, was bei neun Patienten (32%) der Fall war. Andererseits wurde mittels Sequenzierung des CYP21-Gens überprüft, ob bei diesen Patienten tatsächlich Mutationen nachweisbar wären. Bei keinem der neun Patienten mit pathologischem ACTH-Test konnte eine Mutation gefunden werden. We have now established in parallel normative data for salivary cortisol and 17-OHP levels in healthy neonates.
