Недоразумением обернулась инциатива некого дизайнера по имени Метью Боланьос, 15 июня запустившего сайт по созданию аватаров в поддержку кандидата на пост президента США Хилари Клинтон.

Кстати, разработчик генератора аватарок не является официальным представителем кандидата Хилари Клинтон, о чем свидетельствует и надпись на сайте. Несмотря на появление пародийных картинок, сайт по-прежнему продолжает свою работу, а это значит, что у каждого желающего есть возможность сделать свою профильную фотографию с логотипом предвыборной кампании Хилари Клинтон.
Сюрприз недели
Последний эпизод с несколькими статьями на просветительском сайте "Арзамас" кроме увлекательных материалов на тему литературы в России 18 века также содержит еще одну неожиданную сюрприз-игру. Она называется "Соберите кирасира-трансформера".
Суть развлечения заключается в следующем: на мониторе пользователя появляется изображение представителя того или иного рода войск, характерного для царской России. Пользователь может нажимать на стрелки, которые находятся напротив его головы, туловища и ног, чтобы сменить их на более подходящие с его точки зрения.
Таким образом, у самых старательных и терпеливых должны в итоге получиться гусар, гренадер, мушкетер, кирасир или драгун. Если же терпения у вас не хватает, то придется довольствоваться каким-нибудь мушнасаром, кисардером или еще хуже – гурасиром. То есть перед нами конструктор из элементов обмундирования, позволяющий собрать исторического военного или произвольную химеру, состоящую, все же из исторических элементов.
Кроме того, если пользователь правильно выполнит задачу, то его багаж знаний пополнится новой информацией. Например, о том, что "Драгун – это солдат из частей кавалерии, способный сражаться также в пешем строю. А при Петре 1 было сформировано 34 драгунских полка и один эскадрон". Или что "Мушкетер - солдат из пехотных частей, изначально — вооруженный мушкетом. А впервые в России они появились в полках нового строя при Михаиле Федоровиче".
В общем, игрой можно пользоваться как средством для пополнения пробелов в своем историческом знании, так и платформой для создания странных родов войск с не менее замысловатыми и дикими названиями. Некоторые пользователи оценили именно этот развлекательный аспект и делятся созданными ими химерами.
Следует отметить, что решить задачу методом просто тыка достаточно трудно, так как возможны 125 различных вариантов комбинаций между частями обмундирования солдат и только 5 из них будут верными. Ориентироваться на соответствие фасонов туловища, ног и головного убора тоже не очень-то получается, если вы не являетесь специалистом.
Скандал недели
Издание The Daily Dot сообщило о том, что игрок американского бейсбольного клуба "Boston Red Socks" Пабло Сандоваль (Pablo Sandoval) решением тренерского штаба был помещен на скамейку запасных после того, как признался в нарушении политики социальных медиа Главной бейсбольной лиги.
Дело в том, что во время одного из матчей регулярного чемпионата игрок закрылся в туалете и ставил лайки в Instagram.
Обнаружил этот факт спортивный журналист Джаред Каррабис (Jared Carrabis). Просматривая свою ленту Instagram во время игры "Boston Red Socks" против "Atlanta Braves", он заметил, что от аккаунта спортсмена совсем недавно исходила активность. Своим удивлением журналист поделился в твиттере, опубликовав скриншот с собственного телефона, где видно, как с аккаунта бейсболиста были залайканы две фотографии неких привлекательных женщин.

Сопоставление по времени действий в Instagram и ходом игры привело к заключению о том, что Сандоваль действительно ставил свои лайки в то время, когда игра еще продолжалась. Разбирательства привели к тому, что байсболист встретился с представителями СМИ, через которых передал свои извениния в адрес болельщиков за безответственное поведение во время матча. По его словам, после замены он взял гаджет по дороге в туалет и действительно зашел в Instagram. Это является нарушением политики социальных медиа клуба.
Также Сандоваль заявил, что в качестве наказания пропустит следующую игру. Судя по всему, это серьезная мера, так как спортсмен может незаработать значительную сумму, если, конечно, верить одному из болельщиков, который выложил в Твиттер демотиватор с надписью "Он больше внимания уделяет телочкам в инстаграме, чем игре и все равно зарабатывает 117 283 доллара за матч".
The Daily Telegraph напомнил, что Главная бейсбольная лига также может наказать звезду "Boston Red Socks": согласно правилам, сотрудникам и игрокам клубов во время игры запрещается "использовать телефоны либо другие мобильные устройства на поле и в раздевалке непосредственно до и во время игры".
