In 2004, Mr. Kosmala helped develop and launch the first-ever, broad-based certification in information privacy, the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He has since developed specialized credentialing programs in U.S. government privacy (CIPP/G) and Canadian privacy (CIPP/C).
