Think About It: A Brain Week discussion with Dr. Anthony LaMantia
This episode is quite special because we were invited to FBRI, or the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute to talk about Brain Week with Neuroscientist Dr. Anthony MaLantia. There are institutions like the American heart association or American lung association, but no equivalent for brains. Brain week is used to bring together people and researchers to try and further our knowledge on the brain, which isn't as well understood as other organs. Part of this is because neurological research is divided among different fields like biology and psychology, which are quite separated.
