हिन्दी कहानियाँ Hindi Storyमहाभारत की कहानी: दानवीर कर्ण | Danveer Karan Ki Kathaमहाभारत की कथा में कई महान चरित्रों का जिक्र है। उन्हीं में से एक थे दानवीर कर्ण। श्रीकृष्ण हमेशा कर्ण की दानवीरता की प्रशंसा करते थे। वहीं, अर्जुन और युधिष्ठिर भी दान-पुण्य करते रहते थे, लेकिन श्रीकृष्ण कभी उनकी प्रशंसा नहीं करते थे। एक दिन अर्जुन ने श्रीकृष्ण से इसका कारण पूछा। श्रीकृष्ण बोले, “समय आने पर वह यह साबित कर देंगे कि सबसे बड़ा दानवीर सूर्यपुत्र कर्ण है।”
कुछ दिनों के बाद एक ब्राह्मण अर्जुन के महल में आया। उसने बताया कि पत्नी की मृत्यु हो गई है। उसके दाह संस्कार के लिए उन्हें चन्दन की लकड़ियों की जरूरत है। ब्राह्मण ने अर्जुन से चंदन की लकड़ी दान में मांगी। अर्जुन ने अपने मंत्री को आदेश दिया कि राजकोष से चन्दन की लकड़ियों का इंतजाम किया जाए, लेकिन उस दिन न तो राजकोष में चंदन की लकड़ियां मिली और न ही पूरे राज्य में। अर्जुन ने ब्राह्मण से कहा, “आप मुझे क्षमा करें, मैं आपके लिए चंदन की लकड़ी का इंतजाम नहीं कर सका।”
श्रीकृष्ण इस पूरी घटना को देख रहे थे। उन्होंने ब्राह्मण से कहा, “आपको एक जगह चंदन की लकड़ियां जरूर मिलेगी, आप मेरे साथ चलिए।” श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन को भी अपने साथ ले लिया। श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन ने ब्राह्मण का वेश बनाया और उस ब्राह्मण के साथ कर्ण के दरबार में पहुंचे। वहां भी ब्राह्मण ने कर्ण से चंदन की लकड़ी दान में मांगी। कर्ण ने अपनी मंत्री से चंदन की लकड़ी का इंतजाम करने को कहा। थोड़े समय बाद कर्ण के मंत्री ने कहा कि पूरे राज्य में कहीं चंदन की लकड़ी नहीं मिली।
इस पर कर्ण ने अपने मंत्री को आदेश दिया कि उसके महल में चंदन के खंभे हैं, उन्हें तोड़कर ब्राह्मण को दान दिया जाए। मंत्री ने ऐसा ही किया। ब्राह्मण चंदन की लकड़ी लेकर अपनी पत्नी के दाह संस्कार के लिए चला गया। श्रीकृष्ण ने अर्जुन से कहा, “देखो तुम्हारे महल के खंभों में भी चन्दन की लकड़ी लगी है, लेकिन तुमने ब्राह्मण को निराश किया। वहीं, कर्ण ने एक बार फिर अपनी दानवीरता का परिचय दिया।”

ऊदबिलाव गंगा तट से लाल रंग की सात मछलियां लेकर आ गया। सियार दही से भरी हांडी और मांस का टुकड़ा लेकर आया। उसके बाद बंदर उछलता-कूदता बाग से आम के गुच्छे लेकर आया। दिन ढलने को था, लेकिन खरगोश को कुछ नहीं समझ आया। उसने सोचा अगर वो घास का दान करेगा, तो उसे दान का कोई लाभ नहीं मिलेगा। यह सोचते-सोचते खरगोश खाली हाथ वापस चला गया।
खरगोश को खाली हाथ लौटते देख उससे तीनों मित्रों ने पूछा, “अरें! तुम क्या दान करोगे? आज ही के दिन दान करने से महादान का लाभ मिलेगा, पता है न तुम्हें।” खरगोश ने कहा, “हां, मुझे पता है, इसलिए आज मैंने खुद को दान करने का फैसला लिया है।” यह सुनकर खरगोश के सारे दोस्त हैरान हो गए। जैसे ही इस बात की खबर इंद्र देवता तक पहुंची, तो वो सीधे धरती पर आ गए।
इंद्र साधु का भेष बनाकर चारों मित्रों के पास पहुंचे। पहले सियार, बंदर और ऊदबिलाव ने दान दिया। फिर खरगोश के पास इंद्र देवता पहुंचे और कहा तुम क्या दान दोगे। खरगोश ने बताया कि वो खुद को दान कर रहा है। इतना सुनते ही इंद्र देव ने वहां अपनी शक्ति से आग जलाई और खरगोश को उसके अंदर समाने के लिए कहा।
खरगोश हिम्मत करके आग के अंदर घुस गया। इंद्र यह देखकर हैरान रह गए। उनके मन में हुआ कि खरगोश सही में बहुत बड़ा दानी है और इंद्र देव यह देख बहुत खुश हुए। उधर, खरगोश आग में भी सही सलामत खड़ा था। तब इंद्र देव ने कहा, “मैं तुम्हारी परीक्षा ले रहा था। यह आग मायावी है, इसलिए इससे तुम्हें कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचेगा।”
इतना कहने के बाद इंद्र देव ने खरगोश को आशीर्वाद देते हुए कहा, “तुम्हारे इस दान को पूरी दुनिया हमेशा याद करेगी। मैं तुम्हारे शरीर का निशान चांद पर बनाऊंगा।” इतना कहते ही इंद्र देव ने चांद में एक पर्वत को मसलकर खरगोश का निशान बना दिया। तब से ही मान्यता है कि चांद पर खरगोश के निशान हैं और इसी तरह चांद तक पहुंचे बिना ही, चांद पर खरगोश की छाप पहुंच गई।

जब मैं पेशावर से चली तो मैंने छका छक इत्मिनान का सांस लिया। मेरे डिब्बों में ज़्यादा-तर हिंदू लोग बैठे हुए थे। ये लोग पेशावर से हुई मरदान से, कोहाट से, चारसदा से, ख़ैबर से, लंडी कोतल से, बन्नूँ नौशहरा से, मांसहरा से आए थे और पाकिस्तान में जानो माल को महफ़ूज़ न पाकर हिन्दोस्तान का रुख कर रहे थे, स्टेशन पर ज़बरदस्त पहरा था और फ़ौज वाले बड़ी चौकसी से काम कर रहे थे। इन लोगों को जो पाकिस्तान में पनाह गजीं और हिन्दोस्तान में शरणार्थी कहलाते थे उस वक़्त तक चैन का सांस न आया जब तक मैंने पंजाब की रूमानख़ेज़ सरज़मीन की तरफ़ क़दम न बढ़ाए, ये लोग शक्ल-ओ-सूरत से बिल्कुल पठान मालूम होते थे, गोरे चिट्टे मज़बूत हाथ पांव, सिर पर कुलाह और लुंगी, और जिस्म पर क़मीज़ और शलवार, ये लोग पश्तो में बात करते थे और कभी कभी निहायत करख़्त क़िस्म की पंजाबी में बात करते थे। उनकी हिफ़ाज़त के लिए हर डिब्बे में दो सिपाही बंदूक़ें लेकर खड़े थे। वजीह बल्लोची सिपाही अपनी पगड़ियों के अक़ब मोर के छत्तर की तरह ख़ूबसूरत तुर्रे लगाए हुए हाथ में जदीद राइफ़लें लिए हुए उन पठानों और उनके बीवी बच्चों की तरफ़ मुस्कुरा मुस्कुरा कर देख रहे थे जो एक तारीख़ी ख़ौफ़ और शर के ज़ेर-ए-असर उस सरज़मीन से भागे जा रहे थे जहां वो हज़ारों साल से रहते चले आए थे जिसकी संगलाख़ सरज़मीन से उन्होंने तवानाई हासिल की थी। जिसके बर्फ़ाब चश्मों से उन्होंने पानी पिया था। आज ये वतन यकलख़्त बेगाना हो गया था और उसने अपने मेहरबान सीने के किवाड़ उन परबंद कर दिए थे और वो एक नए देस के तपते हुए मैदानों का तसव्वुर दिल में लिए बादिल-ए-नाख़्वासता वहां से रुख़्सत हो रहे थे। इस अमर की मसर्रत ज़रूर थी कि उनकी जानें बच गई थीं। उनका बहुत सा माल-ओ-मता और उनकी बहुओं, बेटीयों, माओं और बीवीयों की आबरू महफ़ूज़ थी लेकिन उनका दिल रो रहा था और आँखें सरहद के पथरीले सीने पर यों गड़ी हुई थीं गोया उसे चीर कर अंदर घुस जाना चाहती हैं और उसके शफ़क़त भरे मामता के फ़व्वारे से पूछना चाहती हैं, बोल माँ आज किस जुर्म की पादाश में तू ने अपने बेटों को घर से निकाल दिया है। अपनी बहुओं को इस ख़ूबसूरत आँगन से महरूम कर दिया है। जहां वो कल तक सुहाग की रानियां बनी बैठी थीं। अपनी अलबेली कुँवारियों को जो अंगूर की बेल की तरह तेरी छाती से लिपट रही थीं झिंझोड़ कर अलग कर दिया है। किस लिए आज ये देस बिदेस हो गया है। मैं चलती जा रही थी और डिब्बों में बैठी हुई मख़लूक़ अपने वतन की सतह-ए-मुर्तफ़े उसके बुलंद-ओ-बाला चटानों, उसके मर्ग़-ज़ारों, उसकी शादाब वादियों, कुंजों और बाग़ों की तरफ़ यूं देख रही थी, जैसे हर जाने-पहचाने मंज़र को अपने सीने में छिपा कर ले जाना चाहती हो जैसे निगाह हर लहज़ा रुक जाये, और मुझे ऐसा मालूम हुआ कि इस अज़ीम रंज-ओ-अलम के बारे मेरे क़दम भारी हुए जा रहे हैं और रेल की पटरी मुझे जवाब दिए जा रही है। हुस्न अबदाल तक लोग यूँही मह्ज़ुं अफ़्सुर्दा यासो नकबत की तस्वीर बने रहे। हुस्न अबदाल के स्टेशन पर बहुत से सिख आए हुए थे। पंजा साहिब से लंबी लंबी किरपानें लिए चेहरों पर हवाईयां उड़ी हुई बाल बच्चे सहमे सहमे से, ऐसा मालूम होता था कि अपनी ही तलवार के घाव से ये लोग ख़ुद मर जाऐंगे। डिब्बों में बैठ कर उन लोगों ने इत्मिनान का सांस लिया और फिर दूसरे सरहद के हिंदू और सिख पठानों से गुफ़्तगु शुरू हो गई। किसी का घर-बार जल गया था कोई सिर्फ़ एक क़मीज़ और शलवार में भागा था, किसी के पांव में जूती न थी और कोई इतना होशयार था कि अपने घर की टूटी चारपाई तक उठा लाया था। जिन लोगों का वाक़ई बहुत नुक़्सान हुआ था वो लोग गुम-सुम बैठे हुए थे। ख़ामोश , चुप-चाप और जिसके पास कभी कुछ न हुआ था वो अपनी लाखों की जायदाद खोने का ग़म कर रहा था और दूसरों को अपनी फ़र्ज़ी इमारत के क़िस्से सुना सुना कर मरऊब कर रहा था और मुसलमानों को गालियां दे रहा था।2020-10-2426 min

एक दिन व्यापारी को पता चला कि बाजार में नमक की बहुत मांग है। उस दिन उसने सोचा कि अब वो बाजार में नमक बेचा करेंगे। जैसे ही हाट लगने का दिन आया, व्यापारी ने नमक की चार बोरियां गधे की पीठ पर लादी और उसे बाजार चलने के लिए तैयार किया। व्यापारी, गधे के आलसीपन के बारे में जानता था, इसलिए गधे के न चलने पर उसने गधे को एक-दो बार धक्का दिया और गधा चल पड़ा। नमक की बोरियां थोड़ी भारी थीं, जिस वजह से गधे के पैर कांप रहे थे और उसे चलने में मुश्किल हो रही थी। किसी तरह, गधे को धक्का देते हुए व्यापारी उसे आधे रास्ते तक ले आया।
व्यापारी के घर और बाजार के बीच एक नदी पड़ती थी, जिसे पुल की मदद से पार करना पड़ता था। गधा जैसे ही नदी पार करने के लिए पुल पर चढ़ा और कुछ दूर चला, उसका पैर फिसल गया और वह नदी में गिर गया।
गधे को नदी में गिरा देख, व्यापारी घबरा गया और हड़बड़ाते हुए तैरकर उसे नदी से निकालने जा पहुंचा।
व्यापारी ने किसी तरह अपने गधे को नदी से बाहर निकाल लिया। जब गधा नदी से बाहर आया, तो उसने देखा कि उसकी पीठ पर लदी बोरियां हल्की हो गई हैं। सारा नमक पानी में घुल गया था और व्यापारी को आधे रास्ते से ही वापस घर लौटना पड़ा। इस वजह से व्यापारी का बहुत नुकसान हो गया, लेकिन इस घटना से आलसी गधे को बाजार तक न जाने की एक तरकीब सूझ गई थी।
अगले दिन बाजार जाते समय जब पुल आया, तो गधा जानबूझकर नदी में गिर गया और उसकी पीठ पर टंगी बोरियों में रखा सारा नमक पानी में घुल गया। व्यापारी को फिर से आधे रास्ते से ही घर लौटना पड़ा। गधे ने हर दिन ऐसा करना शुरू कर दिया। इसके कारण गरीब व्यापारी को बहुत ज्यादा नुकसान होने लगा, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे व्यापारी को गधे की यह युक्ति समझ आ गई थी।
एक दिन व्यापारी ने सोचा कि क्यों न गधे की पीठ पर ऐसा सामान रखा जाए जिसका वजन पानी में गिरने से दोगुना हो जाए। यह सोच कर व्यापारी ने गधे की पीठ पर रूई से भरी बोरियां बांध दी और उसे लेकर बाजार की ओर चल पड़ा। जैसे ही पुल आया, गधा रोज की तरह नदी में गिर गया, लेकिन आज उसकी पीठ पर लदा वजन कम नहीं हुआ, बल्कि और बढ़ गया। गधा इस बात को समझ नहीं पाया। ऐसा अगले दो से तीन तक होता रहा। व्यापारी गधे की पीठ पर रूई से भरी बोरी बांध देता और पानी में गिरते ही उसका वजन दोगुना हो जाता। आखिरकार गधे ने हार मान ली।
गधे को अब सबक मिल चुका था। चौथे दिन जब व्यापारी और गधा बाजार के लिए निकले, तो गधे ने चुपचाप पुल पार कर लिया। उस दिन के बाद से गधे ने कभी भी काम करने में आलस नहीं दिखाया और व्यापारी के सारे नुकसान की धीरे-धीरे भरपाई हो गई।
कहानी से सीख

बीरबल तुरंत मुस्कुराया, अकबर के पास गया और घोषणा की, कि उनके सवाल का जवाब “इक्कीस हजार पाँच सौ तेईस” है। जब उससे पूछा गया कि उसे जवाब कैसे पता है, तो बीरबल ने कहा कि, ‘अपने आदमियों से कौओं की संख्या गिनने को कहें। यदि संख्या ज़्यादा है, तो शहर के बाहर से कौओं के रिश्तेदार उनसे मिलने आए हैं और यदि संख्या कम है, तो कौवे शहर के बाहर अपने रिश्तेदारों से मिलने गए हैं। जवाब से प्रसन्न होकर अकबर ने बीरबल को माणिक और मोती की माला भेंट की।

पुराने समय की बात है, दो भाई थे जो एक जंगल के नज़दीक रहते थे, बड़ा भाई अपने छोटे भाई के प्रति बहुत धूर्त था, और उसका सारा खाना खा जाता था और उसके सभी अच्छे कपड़े भी ले लेता था। एक दिन, बड़ा भाई, बाज़ार में बेचने के लिए , कुछ लकड़ियाँ इक्कठा करने जंगल में गया। जैसे ही वह एक पेड़ से दूसरे पेड़ की शाखाएं काटकर आगे बढ़ा , उसकी मुलाकात एक जादुई पेड़ से हुई। पेड़ ने उससे कहा, “हे! दयालु महोदय, कृपया मेरी शाखाओं को ना काटें। यदि आप मुझे छोड़ देते हैं, तो मैं आपको अपने सुनहरे सेब दूंगा। बड़ा भाई मान गया लेकिन वह पेड़ द्वारा दिए गए सेबों की संख्या से निराश था, लालच ने उस पर क़ाबू पा लिया, और उसने पेड़ को डराया कि यदि पेड़ ने उसे और सेब नहीं दिए तो वह पूरी शाखा काट देगा। सेब देने के बजाय, जादुई पेड़ ने उसपर सैकड़ों छोटी सुइयों की बौछार कर दी । बड़ा भाई दर्द से कराहते हुए ज़मीन पर गिर गया और धीरे–धीरे सूरज ढलने लगा।
यहाँ छोटा भाई चिंतित हो गया और अपने बड़े भाई की तलाश में निकल पड़ा, उसने अपने भाई को शरीर पर सैकड़ों सुइयों के साथ पाया। वह उसकी तरफ़ दौड़ा और उसने प्रत्येक सुई बहुत सावधानी और प्यार से निकाली। सारी सुईयाँ निकालने के बाद, बड़े भाई ने उसके साथ बुरा व्यवहार करने के लिए माफ़ी मांगी और बेहतर इंसान बनने का वादा भी किया। पेड़ ने बड़े भाई के दिल में आया बदलाव देखा और उन्हें सभी सुनहरे सेब दे दिए, जिससे उन्हें कभी कोई कमी महसूस नहीं हुई।
कहानी से मिली सीख

एक बार एक किसान ने अपने पडोसी को भला बुरा कह दिया, पर जब बाद में उसे अपनी गलती का एहसास हुआ तो वह एक संत के पास गया.उसने संत से अपने शब्द वापस लेने का उपाय पूछा.
संत ने किसान से कहा , ” तुम खूब सारे पंख इकठ्ठा कर लो , और उन्हें शहर के बीचो-बीच जाकर रख दो .” किसान ने ऐसा ही किया और फिर संत के पास पहुंच गया.
तब संत ने कहा , ” अब जाओ और उन पंखों को इकठ्ठा कर के वापस ले आओ”
किसान वापस गया पर तब तक सारे पंख हवा से इधर-उधर उड़ चुके थे. और किसान खाली हाथ संत के पास पहुंचा. तब संत ने उससे कहा कि ठीक ऐसा ही तुम्हारे द्वारा कहे गए शब्दों के साथ होता है,तुम आसानी से इन्हें अपने मुख से निकाल तो सकते हो पर चाह कर भी वापस नहीं ले सकते.
इस कहानी से क्या सीख मिलती है:
कुछ कड़वा बोलने से पहले ये याद रखें कि भला-बुरा कहने के बाद कुछ भी कर के अपने शब्द वापस नहीं लिए जा सकते. हाँ, आप उस व्यक्ति से जाकर क्षमा ज़रूर मांग सकते हैं, और मांगनी भी चाहिए, पर human nature कुछ ऐसा होता है की कुछ भी कर लीजिये इंसान कहीं ना कहीं hurt हो ही जाता है.
जब आप किसी को बुरा कहते हैं तो वह उसे कष्ट पहुंचाने के लिए होता है पर बाद में वो आप ही को अधिक कष्ट देता है. खुद को कष्ट देने से क्या लाभ, इससे अच्छा तो है की चुप रहा जाए.

एक बार कि बात है, एक कक्षा में गुरूजी अपने सभी छात्रों को समझाना चाहते थे कि प्रकर्ति सभी को समान अवसर देती हैं और उस अवसर का इस्तेमाल करके अपना भाग्य खुद बना सकते है। इसी बात को ठीक तरह से समझाने के लिए गुरूजी ने तीन कटोरे लिए। पहले कटोरे में एक आलू रखा, दूसरे में अंडा और तीसरे कटोरे में चाय की पत्ती डाल दी। अब तीनों कटोरों में पानी डालकर उनको गैस पर उबलने के लिए रख दिया।
सभी छात्र ये सब हैरान होकर देख रहे थे लेकिन किसी को कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा था। बीस मिनट बाद जब तीनों बर्तन में उबाल आने लगे, तो गुरूजी ने सभी कटोरों को नीचे उतरा और आलू, अंडा और चाय को बाहर निकाला।
अब उन्होंने सभी छात्रों से तीनों कटोरों को गौर से देखने के लिए कहा। अब भी किसी छात्र को समझ नहीं पा रहा था|
आखिर में गुरु जी ने एक बच्चे से तीनों (आलू, अंडा और चाय) को स्पर्श करने के लिए कहा। जब छात्र ने आलू को हाथ लगाया तो पाया कि जो आलू पहले काफी कठोर हो गया था और किन पानी में उबलने के बाद काफी मुलायम हो गया था।
जब छात्र ने, अंडे को उठाया तो देखा जो अंडा पहले बहुत नाज़ुक था
उबलने के बाद वह कठोर हो गया है। अब बारी थी चाय के कप को उठाने की। जब छात्र ने, चाय के कप को उठाया तो देखा चाय की पत्ती ने गर्म पानी के थ मिलकर अपना रूप बदल लिया था और अब वह चाय बन चुकी थी। अब गुरु जी ने समझाया, हमने तीन अलग अलग चीजों को समान विपत्ति से गुज़रा, यानी कि तीनों को समान रूप से पानी में उबाला लेकिन बाहर आने पर तीनों चीजें एक जैसी नहीं मिली।
आलू जो कठोर था वो मुलायम हो गया, अंडा पहले से कठोर हो गया और चाय की पत्ती ने भी अपना रूप बदल लिया उसी तरह यही बात इंसानों पर भी लागू होती है।

एक बार एक छोटा सा लड़का एक होटल में गया ।कुछ ही देर में वहां वेटर आया और पुछा आपको क्या चाहिए सर ? छोटे बच्चे ने उल्टा पुछा ! वैनिला आइसक्रीम(vanilla ice-cream) कितने रूपए का है ? उस वेटर वाले ने जवाब दिया 50 रुपये का ।
यह सुन कर उस छोटे लड़के ने अपने जेब में हाँथ डाल कर कुछ निकला और हिसाब किया । उसने दुबारा पुछा कि संतरा फ्लेवर आइसक्रीम(orange flavor ice-cream) कितने का है । वेटर ने दुबारा जवाब दिया और कहा 35 रुपये का सर ।
यह सुने के बाद उस लड़के ने कहा ! मेरे लिए एक संतरा फ्लेवर आइसक्रीम(orange flavor ice-cream) ले आईये ।
कुछ ही देर में वेटर आइसक्रीम की प्लेट और साथ में बिल लेकर आया और उस बच्चे के टेबल पर रखकर चले गया । उस लड़के ने उस आइसक्रीम को खाने के बाद पैसे दिए और वह चले गया ।
जब वह वेटर वापस आया तो वह दंग रहे गया यह देखकर कि उस लड़के नें खाए हुए आइसक्रीम प्लेट के बगल में उसके लिए 15 रुपय का टिप छोड़ गया था ।
कहानी से शिक्षा-उस लड़के पास 50 रुपये होने पर भी उसने उस वेटर के टिप के बारे में पहले सोचा न की अपने आइसक्रीम के बारे में । उसी प्रकार हमें अपने फायदे के बारे में सोचने से पहले दूसरों के बारे में भी सोचना चाहिए ।
