Aurora, Colorado Crime ReportAurora Sees Violent Week with Stabbings, Homicide in Late June to Early July 2025During the week of June 30 to July 7, 2025, Aurora Police responded to several significant criminal incidents.On Sunday, June 29, at 1:45 a.m., two men experiencing homelessness were fatally stabbed on Moline Street near Colfax Avenue. A second related stabbing occurred just before 6:30 a.m. the same day at Peoria and Colfax, approximately half a mile from the first location. Detectives have confirmed the incidents are connected and have arrested Ricky Roybal-Smith, 38, of Aurora, who is currently in custody in Denver on an unrelated homicide charge.
