Episode #344: Mountains and Megaliths of Peru
We go live in this episode to discuss Russ's ten day trip to Peru with Ben from UnchartedX. Photos and video from many sites are shown and details discussed. The stonework in some of these places really is very mysterious and of a quality that is difficult to explain if the builders were using "conventional" stoneworking methods. Thank you for watching and supporting the show! We will be in Turkey in 2025 with Ben and Yousef, join us! Modern Metal in Ancient Vases - Update on Vase Research
We discuss some very interesting new developments in the maverick research being done on the ancient stone vases from Egypt. Ben and Russ took a trip to Florida to get some fragments of vases examined using a Scanning Electron Microscope. No copper was found, but there were traces of other metals that the ancient Egyptians are not supposed to have had access to. We were streaming this live, so we were also responding to questions from the chat. You can watch the youtube version here: https://www.youtube.com/live/z2ZwN7bcDPY?si...

GoFundme we talk about in the beginning of the episode: https://www.gofundme.com/f/parkerville-fire-home-lost-christmas-2023 We recorded this shorter episode just before Christmas because Kyle has injured himself and wasn't able to sit for a normal episode. Unfinished - Mysteries of the Megaliths
(The first half of the show is the presentation Russ will be delivering at the Cosmic Summit. It is heavy on the visuals, if you want to skip past it to the discussion, go to 1:20:30) We've been condensing and refining this presentation in preparation for the Cosmic Summit, and we wanted to publish it here before it is given at the Summit. Some of you will have seen/heard some of this material before, as we went through it in a much less refined form in Episode 243. But this version is much more concise, and i...

Lost Cities of the Maya - With Luke Caverns
Luke is an Anthropology student who specializes in the study of the ancient Maya. He is also one of the presenters for the Cosmic Summit. When we heard what Luke was going to talk about at the Summit, we decided we had to get him on the show. We contacted him, and it turned out he was right in our area, so he drove out to join us in person in the Tangent Cube to talk about his background and his experiences traversing the deep jungles of Mexico and Belize, looking for lost Mayan ruins. More Listener Communications
We're about to leave for Turkey and we have so many great emails from listeners to catch up on before we go, we decided to tackle some of them in a live-to-youtube broadcast. Once again this was a lot of fun, thanks to everyone in the chat and all the superchat donations. This will be the last of the regular episodes until we get back from Turkey. Meanwhile, check our youtube channel for livestreams, the discord for pics, vids and boots-on-the-ground updates, and maybe even the RSS feed for audio uploads, if we can manage it.

Written in Stone
Ben from UnchartedX joins us to discuss the amazing high quality scan data of a pre-dynastic Egyptian stone vase. Ben has discussed this object, the data from the scan, and the implications of the staggering precision evident in the manufacturing process several times on his channel. Since the STL file of the data has been made available for download on the UnchartedX website, many people from around the world have been performing their own analysis of the vase, and we discuss some of the results of that on this episode, as well as some interesting results that...

The Mysteries of Egypt - Part 3
We are joined in studio by Laura for more discussion on the 2022 Egypt trip. We talk about what we learned, further observations we made, and plans for the future. Laura asks us about the goals we had for this trip and if we accomplished any of them...which we did....mostly. Kyle talks about mapping the Serapeum and jumping in and out of the boxes, checking the interiors and using resonance to get rough measurements. We also discuss the statues, the differences in skill and style you can see between them, and the possibility that the large object that wa...

Conversation on the main topic starts in the second half of the episode. It's the end of August, and for us, it is the harvest season. We discuss this year's harvest of the grapes and the beginnings of this season's winemaking. We dive back in to The Character of Physical Law by Richard Feynman, again using short clips pulled from the lectures themselves and reading excerpts from the book. This episode we focus mostly on the second lecture, "The Relation of Mathematics to Physics", where Feynman talks about how Nature seems to follow sets of mathematical rules, and how those mathematics might be related--at least in some cases--to large numbers of simple processes in the physical universe. Yet another three hour show(this is a habit we're going to have to break), where we catch up on listener emails for the first half of the show, then tackle the remaining sections of "The Pyramids and Temples of Gizeh" that Kyle picked out. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie lays out his relatively "standard model" perspective of how the pyramids may have been built, logistically speaking, using a core of year-round specialists, and an annual influx of unskilled labor from the general population during the Nile Flooding period. When these cosmic rays hit earth, they result in "cosmogenic nuclides" like the radioactive Carbon 14 that is so often used to date material in archaeological settings. Splash Chevrons and Effortless Power
Russ is sick this week(not with Covid19, don't worry), so we had to put the Gods of Eden book report on hold because Russ can't read when he's sick. (Well, really, it's just hard to talk so much with a sore throat). So instead we have Chris Cottrel from The Dabbler's Den on for a segment to talk to us about a new and fascinating idea that he and Antonio Zamora have been working on, related to the Carolina Bays, called "Splash Chevrons". Chris shows us some of the LiDAR images he has been looking at tha...

The Gods of Eden - Part 5
We continue our reading of William Bramley's The Gods of Eden, following the corrupt Brotherhood and the Custodial machinations to the end of the Crusades. Bramley focuses briefly on the ancient Americas, talking about the Custodial influences there, with the same legends of "gods" from other worlds or the stars. We then go back across the Atlantic and begin looking at the Black Death and the plague years, and the strange sightings in the sky of lights and objects during this period,as well as the unknown cloaked figures reported in the outskirts of towns that later became the...

The Gods of Eden - Part 4
We continue to follow Bramley's "Custodial" powers up through history as the Brotherhood continues to splinter and create warring factions across the globe, keeping humans splintered and scattered and fighting amongst each other while these ancient powers pull strings in the background. We look at the early formation of Christianity and how it changed when governmental powers moved in and absorbed it. We look at the beginnings of the Islamic faith, and the splintering and factioning that happened soon after. We look at the crusades, the Knights of St. John who became the Knights of Malta, and the Templars...

The Gods of Eden - Part 1
We begin a new book report into William Bramley's book, The Gods of Eden. In this first part, we go through Bramley's introduction into his reasons for writing the book, what his original research was searching for, and what he actually found. What are the real reasons behind humanity's constant wars? Is there a hidden third faction lurking in the shadows of these conflicts? Bramley starts at the beginning of recorded history to track down the answers of these questions, starting with the Sumerian civilization.

Both of our parents join us in the tangent cube for this episode, to talk about their backgrounds and tell stories of the shenanigans we got up to as kids, and their philosophy of education that had such a huge impact on how we go about life, always trying to learn new things from the natural world around us.
