Born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome Olivia was part of the early patient cohort to progress from Norwood through to Fontan under the care of Birmingham Children's Hospital. After experiencing first-hand the inadequacies of the existing hospital gowns she has set about redesigning patient-wear with patients in mind. Revising everything from comfort to clinician access to carbon cycle impact, Olivia has built her company Hypoplas to provide patient-wear that works for the twenty-first century.
