Цель лекции — дать очерк поступательного движения Русской православной церкви от ситуации «церковной революции» к канонической реставрации на Поместном соборе Российской Православной Церкви 1917-1918 гг.В февральские и мартовские дни 1917 года багаж «забюрократизированных» проблем, накопленных во взаимоотношениях империи и Церкви в последние 50 лет старого порядка, привел к тому, что со стороны Церкви не была высказана поддержка сложившейся системе государственно-церковных отношений.Основная масса стихийных преобразований в Церкви происходит до июньского-июльского большевистского кризиса 1917 года. Временное правительство получает телеграммы от церковных комитетов о фактическом принятии церковного имущества в управление и письма с жалобами на выборное начало, которое реализовывалось на приходах как альтернатива сословности духовенства. В мае Святейший Синод принимает определение с санкцией на проведение епархиальных съездов, и, в противовес действию разрушительной самоорганизации, выдвигает предложение обсудить на соборе как общецерковные вопросы, так и вопрос о положении православной церкви в русском государстве. А уже 2 декабря 1917 года Священный собор РПЦ принимает определение, адресованное Учредительному собранию, с предложением о заключении договора (т.е. конкордата) с будущим российским государством.Что должно было стать основной взаимодействия Церкви с будущим российским государством? Как мыслилась соборная структура Церкви? Почему восстановление Собором патриаршества являет нам пример консолидации церковного сознания? From Camp Lee to the Great War: The Letters of Lester Scott & Charles RiggleFrom Camp Lee to the Great War: Episode 2 [September 29, 1917]Charles "Dutch" Riggle was drafted into the US Army in 1917 and trained at Camp Lee, Virginia, where so many Wheeling draftees and volunteers—including his sister-in-law Minnie Riggle's brother, Lester Scott—were trained. Dutch Riggle was a Private First Class in the 314th Field Artillery Supply Company, Battery “A,” 80th (Blue Ridge) Division in France. This is his letter home, September 29, 1917.
