Does God regulate how the Church is to worship Him?
In this episode, we discuss the regulative principle versus the normative principle. God does regulate how He is to be worshiped when His people gather. We are not free to do whatever we want. Indeed, God created us for the very purpose of worshipping Him. It makes sense that He would tell us how we are to do it. When we gather, we must preach the word, read the word, pray the word, sing the word, and display the word. For more information about my ministry visit, afci.us

The Relationship Between Israel, the Church, and the Kingdom
The relationship between Israel, the church, and the Kingdom is one of the most consequential issues in biblical theology. In this episode, we zoom into the two key figures of the second great awakening, Asahel Nettleton and Charles Finney. Finney launched the "new way," which believed revival could be manufactured by man. Though Finney was reported to have 250,000 converts, history shows that most were illegitimate. Knowledge, Experts, PhDs, Postmodernism and the Case of Christian Confusion
There is broad confusion among most American evangelicals when it comes to biblical truth and who to trust. Many cultural experts, scientists, politicians, scholars, media outlets, and even Christian leaders are saying things that clearly contradict much of what the Bible has to say. As I continue in my series on common grace, I touch on further means of common grace. God put within our bodies and within this world a common grace potential. Moreover, God's common grace is seen most clearly in certain families, certain upbringings, certain types of education, and certain vocations. This means that common grace is not equal. Some receive more common grace than others. Finally, common grace undeniably extends through the Word of God and through the Church. The non-believer benefits from living in a Christianized culture. The non-believer benefits when he lives according to Christian morality.

Common Grace: The Noahic Covenant
As I continue in my series on God's common grace, I focus specifically on the inception of God's common grace in this episode, which is the Noahic Covenant. As common grace is God's general and temporal favor towards humanity which restrains man's sinful nature, the Noahic covenant serves to provide the necessary means to give stability to human beings moving forward in human history. Of incredibly importance in the Noahic Covenant is God's institution of government and capital punishment, both of which restrain sin in unbelievers.

Common Grace: An Introduction
In this episode, I begin a new series on the doctrine of common grace. Common grace is a doctrine that must be understood when considering the life and accomplishments of non-believers. Why can non-believers experience the good of creation? Why are non-believers not instantly judged? Why do non-believers have the ability to make superficially good decisions? All of these questions find their answer in the doctrine of common grace.

Join Sam Pirrotta and Dan Rudman as they look at Peter's treatment of the role of men and women in 1 Peter 3:1-7. Not only are women to submit to Christian husbands, but a Christian woman is even to submit to her unbelieving husband. Thus, the pattern of man and woman stretches beyond the purely Christian sphere.

Sam Pirrotta and Dan Rudman continue their series on the theology and pattern of man and woman displayed in Scripture. In 1 Timothy 3, Paul describes the type of man qualified to lead God's Church. In 1 Timothy 5, Paul describes the type of woman qualified to be considered a widow worthy of support from the church and worthy of ministry in the Church. It truly is a description of a Godly woman. The description Paul gives should be the type of woman all women strive to be.

Sam Pirrotta and Dan Rudman continue their survey of the passages in New Testament epistles which deal with the roles of men and women. 1 Corinthians 14:33-36 speaks towards a woman's role when weighing prophecy in the public assembly. Furthermore, given the ongoing pattern of manhood and womanhood clearly displayed in Scripture, the text needed to overturn the pattern must be overwhelmingly clear.
