ABS-CBN新聞網報導，410名在台灣義美食品公司工作的菲籍移工，透過馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處把陳情信轉交給杜特蒂，表示旅行禁令可能造成他們違約，無法回到台灣工作。「呼籲且請求我們的政府再次允許菲律賓工人來台灣，尤其是那些還有工作合約的人。」這群菲籍移工還拍攝一段影片，向菲律賓政府發聲。他們在影片中說道：「請解除禁令，台灣很安全。」

※移地體驗慢食文化 南華碩士生赴泰參加廚藝教室
南華大學多年來推廣慢食理念，在自然療癒碩士班開設「慢食與美食科學」課程，身兼主秘的授課老師葉月嬌這次安排學生到泰國學習廚藝教室的教學理念，近日帶領3名碩士生飛往泰國參加「廚藝教室」，進行移地教學，體驗當地的慢食文化理念，並和當地台商及企業人士交流，簽訂合作協議，提供南華學子更多南向實習的機會。

※虎尾科大與印度6校合作 促進學者交換計畫
教育新南向，虎尾科技大學在我國駐印度代表處教育組的協助下，與印度的德里科技大學(Delhi Technology University)、昌迪加爾大學(Chandigarh University)、奇特卡拉大學(Chitkara University)、索里尼大學(Shoolini University)、吉恩卡大學(G D Goenka University)及夏達大學(Sharda University)等6所學校簽訂合作備忘錄。我國駐印度代表處教育組表示，這次的合作焦聚在學者交流及交換計畫，期盼藉由雙邊師長間的互動，增進印度學子對台灣教育環境的認識。
