Ο ηθοποιός και σκηνοθέτης, παρουσιάζει για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα τη δραματική κωμωδία «Στο διπλανό δωμάτιο ή το έργο του δονητή», στο θέατρο Βρετάνια, τη θεατρική σεζόν που μόλις ξεκίνησε. Με αυτή την αφορμή μίλησε στο protothema.gr και στον Νίκο Θρασυβούλου. Λόγω των διαδοχικών ατυχημάτων των δύο αρχικών πρωταγωνιστών, Άκη Σακελλαρίου και Νάντιας Κοντογεώργη, τους πρωταγωνιστικούς ρόλους αναλαμβάνουν ο ίδιος και η Γαλήνη Χατζηπασχάλη. Τους επόμενους μήνες αναμένεται οι δύο αγαπημένοι ηθοποιοί να επιστρέψουν σε διπλή διανομή. Αναφέρθηκε στην υπόθεση του έργου και εξήγησε πως ένα έργο για τη σεξουαλικότητα, την αγάπη και τον ηλεκτρισμό είναι μια σοβαρή κωμωδία. Σχετικά με την υπόθεση είπε ότι στα τέλη του 1880, μερικά χρόνια μετά την εφεύρεση του ηλεκτρισμού, στην Βικτωριανή Νέα Υόρκη, όπου βασιλεύει η συντήρηση και ο πουριτανισμός, ένας καταξιωμένος γιατρός, αφοσιωμένος επιστήμονας και οικογενειάρχης, ανακαλύπτει, με αγνές προθέσεις, με στόχο την θεραπεία της «υστερίας» των γυναικών και ενίοτε των αντρών ασθενών του μια εκπληκτική, νέα και πρωτοπόρα συσκευή: τον ηλεκτρικό δονητή. Είπε ότι είναι ένα γυναικείο έργο που αφορά άμεσα τους άνδρες. Βέβαια αναφέρθηκε και στην παράσταση που παρουσιάζει και σκηνοθετεί για 2η χρονιά στο θέατρο Μουσούρη. Ένα έργο, που μιλά με διαύγεια, χιούμορ, τρυφερότητα και βαθιά αγάπη για «τη ζωή, όπως προσπαθούμε να τη ζήσουμε». The Opera Company of Philadelphia will host the local premieres of two exciting new American operas over the next several months: Nico Muhly and Stephen Karam's Dark Sisters and Kevin Puts and Mark Campbell's Silent Night. Both operas had their world premiere in November 2011.
