The inspiration for the song was given to me by a photographer with whom I have a close friendship. He shot the photo that is uploaded to SoundCloud as the cover image. He gave the picture the title "Forever Together". I wanted to capture musically the feeling that the two birds that are in the picture are feeling. For that, I tried to portray an epic atmosphere. I started to expirement with some distorted percussion sound and generated some random rhythms until this one hit me. I felt like a basic offbeat rhythm would fit really well. So the base of this track was built. To make the rhythm a bit more interesting, I used a gate effect on the main lead and I adjusted the other instruments to this gate rhythm. One thing about the melody: there is one note out of key which I thought brings a lot of excitement into the song.

I'm a huge fan of cinematic music right now. I have built this song on a 3/4 time signature. The base is a piano playing a slow arpeggio. Later the piano is accompanied by synthesized strings. It starts very softly and gets steadily louder.
The main part is formed by my Fender Telecaster. The melody is completely improvised. I later built the drums and other instruments around it based on the guitar.

This is the first part of my "Believe EP" which is more like one very long track of 17 minutes than an EP. I started "Growth" by introducing one of the main themes of the EP. I really love a slow narrative speed and a steady progression. That is why it takes a while to get to the first drop.

"Stay Strong" is part of my “Believe EP”. I tried to create a mix of orchestral and electronic music. This track is the third part of a 17 minute long composition. It is based on a heroic brass melody.
The song starts with an overdriven plucky sound that plays an arpeggio to introduce the main rhythm. Besides that, I designed a bass pattern which is a mix of 1/16th and 1/32th notes.

At first, the track lenght is not by chance. ;) After a short buildup we get straight towards the first drop. It has a 90s style trance/disco mood. However, I am huge fan of the 80s and it's synthwave, too. So I tried to combine both. To get this happy feeling in the middle of the song, I used a xylophone. At the top there is this retro vocoder voice telling "I can feel your heart" to get more of this 90s dance vibe.

Some time ago, I switched from FL Studio to Ableton Live and I was fascinated by the session view. This song is the result of one of my first jams. The title is "Waiting" because the sustaining piano melody sounds a bit like elevator music to me. I imagined a band getting bored waiting in an elevator and just starting jamming to the elevator music.

"Tocsin" is a synonym for alarm bell and it sounds similar to toxin. I imagined a story about a war that seems hopeless at the beginning, but then turns to good. That's why I wanted to create a very dark atmosphere with the thunderstorm and the deformed piano. It was very important to me that the song takes a lot of time to introduce everything. So "Tocsin" became over eight minutes long. I tried to include a lot of little things, like some sounds recorded with the mouth or cinematic effects.
