ちょうどいいお菓子な話処分されてしまう災害備蓄品を「もったいない」から「ありがとう」に変えている 株式会社 StockBase 代表 関芳実さん！4月にスタジオにお迎えしたのは、横浜・関内に本社を持つ「株式会社 StockBase 」代表 関芳実さん！賞味期限前の備蓄食をはじめ、企業が廃棄してしまう備品などを「寄付したい」と「ほしい」をマッチングされています。横浜市立大学の学生時代に、企業が配布しているカレンダーの残りを高齢者施設に運ぶボランティア活動を体験したことから、2021年に起業されました。企業はもったいないと思いながらも、寄付先などを探す手間などから、結局廃棄してしまっている現実を知り、必要としている団体への寄付するコストを最低限に抑えるシステムを開発！これまで廃棄されてしまうはずだったものを「寄付」にした量は、なんと700トン!マッチング率100%を実現。 従業員の数x3日分の備蓄を入れ替える時に、これまで数千箱もの備蓄品を廃棄処分してきた大手の企業もあれば、4～5箱という中小企業まで約70社の登録があり、寄付先として登録している団体は子ども食堂や災害支援活動団体など300以上。アルファ米や備蓄水のほかに、ノベルティとして作られたボールペンやクリアファイル、付箋などのマッチングにも成功されています。今年4月の放送では、1月に発災した能登半島地震で、これまでの繋がりから、2トンの水を支援したいという企業と、現地へ向かう支援活動団体をつないだというお話も！関さんが代表を務める「株式会社 StockBase 」では、廃棄を無くし循環型社会を実現されています。2024-08-1216 min
ロコラバ余ってしまった備蓄食を必要な人へ 株式会社StockBase・関芳実さん（神奈川）【今週の地域人】全国のコミュニティFMで生放送「ロコラバ」地域で活躍している方に直接インタビューする「今週の『地域人』」
今、企業では、従業員に対して3日分の備蓄食を保有することが法律で義務付けられています。しかし、これらは一定期間で必ず入れ替えが発生するため、配布しきれずに残ってしまうことがあります。
学生時代のボランティアをきっかけに「企業にとって不要なモノも、他の誰かにとっては必要なモノかもしれない」と気が付いた関芳実（せき・よしみ）さん。余ってしまった災害備蓄食やノベルティ等を、NPO法人や子ども食堂などに寄付するマッチングプラットフォーム「StockBase（ストックベース）」を大学在学中に立ち上げました。昨今のフードロスや困窮世帯の増加という社会問題を解決するため、日々奮闘しています。
