今年も11月1日から3日にかけて、視覚障害者向け総合イベント「サイトワールド」が開催されました。今年はAccSellとしてではなく、まだまだ設立準備中の日本視覚障害者ICTネットワークとして取材しました。この中でも、最近の技術の進歩の早さを感じさせられることがいろいろとありました。最近、本当にあらゆることがすごい速度で進んでいる感じがします。
なおサイトワールドについては、来週発行予定のメルマガでレポートをお送りするのに加えて、AccSellでは全体を総括するポッドキャストを、そして日本視覚障害者ICTネットワークのサイトでは出展者へのインタビューの模様を収録したポッドキャストを配信する予定です。

今回紹介したWindows 10の新機能、すごいの一言です。このポッドキャストでも何度か「長生きしてみるもんだね～」って言ったことがあると思いますが、これもその一つ。技術がいろいろな可能性を広げていく、その真っ只中にいる感覚は何とも言えませんね。近いうちに機会を作って、この機能をはじめとしていろいろなアクセシビリティ機能や支援技術を皆さんとシェアすることができたらと目論んでおります（ニヤリ）

前回（126回）でも紹介をした11月11日（土）に国内最大級・最大規模のアクセシビリティカンファレンス「Japan Accessibility Conference vol.1」があって、AccSellの3人とももちろん参加！全９セッション、２５０名が集ったすごいカンファレンスでした。そしてなによりスタッフさんたちがみなさん周りの動きをみながら適宜いい感じに対応していたのもとても印象的でした（イベントを主催したりお手伝いをしているといろいろ気になってしまうのよーよー）。来年の１１月１１日も楽しみだなぁ！
