Julia Redenius-Hövermann ist Associate Professorin für Bürgerliches Recht und Unternehmensrecht an der Frankfurt School . Weiterhin ist sie Direktorin des Corporate Governance Institute und des Frankfurt Competence Centre for German and Global Regulation.
Nach dem Studium der Rechtswissenschaften an den Universitäten Paris II-Assas und München mit einem Schwerpunkt im europäischen und internationalen Wirtschaftsrecht promovierte sie bei Prof. Dr. Michel Germain (Paris II) zu einer gesellschaftsrechtlichen Arbeit zum Thema „Haftung von Vorstands- und Aufsichtsratsmitgliedern von Aktiengesellschaften im deutschen und französischen Recht“ (summa cum laude).
